plymouth orchard and cider mill

This was just what my young mom friend and her one and three year old needed while our husbands were out camping during this Fall weekend. The kids went from animal to animal, talking to them like they were best friends. They hopped on the big tractors for pictures as well as standing behind all the painted plywood cutouts. Then we took a wagon ride. The kids were thrilled! Back at the orchard we each enjoyed a very delicious, warm donut and cider (and definitely purchased some for home). It was a great day! We only wished we could have picked some apples but I guess we were too early for that.

If you have kids this is a good place to come with live animals and other things tailored for kids. We were just looking for something to do it was a good way to spend an hour. We live by Wiards and we think the prices are better. The doughnuts they gave us came out hot and fresh as the girl behind the counter got them that way for us without asking. They have a smaller variety of baked goods than other places but they are good quality.

This lovely place sits down a country road in the middle of an orchard. A large building holds a fantastic gift shop where apples and apple products can be purchased. You can watch donuts being made and also the process of cider making, through large windows. A large seperate room is equiped with many picnic tables where you can enjoy a drink and donut. Outside, there are 2 building that can be rented for parties. There is a playground for kids and a farmyard to visit the farm animals. A wagon ride through the orchard shouldn't be missed.

We took my 18 mo. old grand daughter here for a hay ride and to see the animals. It was a great day for it. They had a nice selection of pumpkins, the cider and doughnuts were good although the hay ride was pretty average.

The Plymouth Orchard and Cider Mill is an awesome place to spend a few hours and get some yummy treats. The Orchard is really nice and has an indoor facility to purchase cider and doughnuts and a large space to relax and eat and drink. The prices this year are pretty good - $6 for gallon of cider and $4 for 1/2 dozen of doughnuts The orchard and cider mill is open from August 30th till November 2nd. A great place to take the kids because there is places to take pictures and they have a small petting zoo to watch the animals. There is a pumpkin patch and a wagon ride out to pick out your favorite pumpkin. They also sell other yummy goodies including delicious apples. This is a great place to spend a few hours with the kids!
