Had a hard time getting help finding larger sized clothing in some stores. Selection not very festive considering the Christmas season is fast approaching.
I like the selection verity of outlet stores. One of my favorite outlet stores is the Kitchen Collection. My parents also love to shop at Tanger Outlets in West Branch. It is near I-75 and there are fast food restaurants near the outlets and the Applebee's restaurant is in the same parking lot. The bathrooms are clean and located near the middle of the Tanger Outlets. Each store has a large sign. The outlets have a coffee shop and pop and vending machines. There are benches to sit on outside. I would recommend this place to my friends. Me and my friends went there to buy birthday presents for his brother's birthday. We had a great time. The service was very nice at all the stores we visited. The employees at the outlet stores were most helpful.
Although it is not a large outlet mall, it has a nice variety of shops available . The latest addition of a Christopher and Banks store has added another inviting shopping experience.
It's not the biggest outlet mall, but there are good deals to be found. Our favorite stores here are the Dress Barn, Christopher & Banks, and the children's stores Carters and Gymboree. You can find especially great deals on kids clothes here. We stop 2 or 3 times a year to stock up. There are plenty of restaurants in the area if you want to add a meal to your stop.
Not a lot of selections, but what they did have was nice and kept me engaged for three hours (and I am a power shopper, so this amount of time was a lot but I did not have anything to do in the evening while on business) - employees at the outlet stores were very nice, very helpful.
Our annual visit and once again, fabulous deals! 50% off store wide at the Coach store. 50% + an additional 30% off on clearance items. Picked up a python/black bag for $130, regular price $498. The girls were so helpful. We talked about how to tell a Coach purse made for the outlet store versus retail store purse. The old rule of if the insignia has a buggy it was made for the retail store is no longer true. Now, purses made for the outlet store are made with the buggy, too. Since they change displays on a regular basis, ask which wall has the purses that were sold in retail stores. This month, 5 wall shelves toward the back on the north wall. Great service, merchandise, and saved a lot of money! As for some of the other stores, great deals at the Eddie Bauer store. Best advice I can give is to know your prices before shopping. There's some really good deals, but not everything is a great deal. Love this mall! My favorite Tanger in Michigan. Clean and well cared for.
If you look often you can def find really good deals, but its not like it used to be on the quality or the price.
I find that people automatically think they are getting a good deal if they buy at an outlet. I love outlets but you have to shop at certain times of the year to get the deals. I like to shop here. It is relatively close to home.
we shop here every time we come to our camp in West Branch. This is smaller mall, making easier to get around. Seems stores have better choices than other malls. Seems that the Coach store here can have bags I have not seen elsewhere.
On our way UpNorth we always stop at the outlet. This winter the heavy snow caused a roof to cave in over the Polo store. It has not been replaced or moved into another slot. Disappointing but, all the other shops had great deals and bargains. Our best find was at The Wilson Leather shop...leather jackets under 40 dollars.
Standard outlet mall. About 25 of the typical stores you'd expect to find. Clean, well maintained, with easy parking and access to stores. Situated right off I-75 exit 212, so a great place for a quick stop.
Bargains can still be found at this outlet mall, unlike others I have visited. You do have to know the normal costs of what you are shopping for since some things didn't appear to be discounted. I found $3 blouses at Christopher Banks, $2 shorts at Old Navy, $20 jeans at Gap and good deals at many of the other stores. This strip mall is smaller then most outlets malls, but it took me several hours to visit all the stores.
If you are like me and like a bargain, outlet malls are the place to shop. However, don't fall in to the 'it's an outlet mall so it's a bargain' trap. Compare prices to what you would normally pay at a regular retail store. For example, at the Hanes store, I compared what I pay for underwear I typically buy at at Kohls. Same underwear, Hanes brand and it was more in the outlet store. I pulled out my cell phone and jumped on Google to compare prices. Actually more than what Hanes charges via their catalog. We walked out of that store. The Izod store had some great deals. Buy one, get two free. I got 3 zipped, fleece pullovers for $42. At the Coach store, merchandise on the right side of store is merchandise from their retail stores. On the left is Coach merchandise made specifically for their outlet stores. I bought a beautiful red purse that I had my eye on at their retail store for $100.19!! Regular price $419.99. That was a bargain! I will definitely go back. Again, just check out the prices before buying.
Located just off the interstate this mall is a little difficult to get to. You have to ravel down the entire back side of the mall before making a left turn into the back side of the mall and then back up the front side. Very poorly laid out. The run of the usual discount stores in a small mall. This is by no means a complete discount mall as there are not that many stores. Very busy the day we were there apparently due to school openings.Tired of shopping? Good news! There are several fast food places close by.
We have been going to the outlets for over 15 years and have made many excellent purchases. Over the years there have been many changes in stores. My wife loves Ann Taylor and the Loft. I frequent many stores but do miss some that have left this outlet.
