If you like excellent wine...stop here! No joke.I had purchased a tasting for two on groupon, which also came with a take home bottle of wine. This place is a simply stunning stone mansion, nearly, tucked away in a little secluded wooded area right off the main highway. We came a couple weeks after all the leaves had turned and most fallen, but it was still amazing. Once inside we were greeted by the wife, I forget her name. She was a wonderful story teller and just a lot of fun. Her husband was not available when we came. She really took the time to explain to us how to taste, smell, and view the wine. She explained how they made their wines and what was different about them. Each wine had a story to go with it, usually about someone they knew and cherished. After we were allowed to visit the house. The house was in need of a little cleaning up and updating, but it was still so much fun.The bottles of wine are on the pricier side(about $30)...but all in all most are worth it. The groupon was a great chance to see what this winery was all about. They also had this wonderful white dog to play with. :)

Some friends and family went to this winery for wine tasting and a picnic. This is something we do regularly at local wineries. We drove almost an hour to go to this winery. We did the wine tasting and bought our wine. When we went to set up for the picnic the owner came out screaming at us. She kept saying "you should've called, we could have had a wedding!" When we asked her if there was a wedding she said "no but I do have some girls inside that I told can sit outside". I asked her if we needed to move to the other side of the porch, she threw magazines on the table and yelled "no, I'll take care of it". It should be noted that there were only two other groups of people there besides us and plenty of room on the porch for everyone there. The place was deserted other than our three small groups! This lady continued to make comments while we were there and continued to be completely rude. Unfortunately we had already bought our wine and had already driven so far that everyone was hungry we just wanted to eat. Our group included family and friends. The owner's behavior was completely out-of-control and unacceptable. We will never go back and I plan on telling this crazy story to as many people who will listen. Please save your money and your time for local wineries will appreciate your business!

My friends and I went to the winery yesterday for the day. We spent over $350 but were treated like absolute crap by the female owner. She came out yelling at us, yes literally yelling at us. We bought LivingSocial coupons and wanted to come taste the wine and have a picnic. We do this at all the local wineries. She made us feel completely unwelcome and how dare we show up without calling because she "could have had a wedding". Did I mention that there was no wedding?! Our group was not that big that you should have to call the head. I wished she would've behaved that way before we bought 14 bottles of wine! We felt stuck there, awkwardly finished a very quick picnic, and then left. But not before she could make additional comments to us about being lucky there wasn't a wedding and we should have called ahead. We will never go back there ever again! It's a shame because the wine is good.
