harvey's alley spring canoe rental

Harvey's Canoe Rental is an excellent place! They will schedule you a trip down our beautiful spring fed Ozark river, fitting to your ability and expectations! An old country store atmosphere that houses all of your floating needs. Sitting on the beautiful Jack's Fork river just outside of beautiful Eminence Missouri. A true trip for the out doors man that enjoy's nature, sun, water, and excitement!

We have used this outfitter for many years and would highly recommend them to anyone. Very helpful with the equipment and suggestions on type of float.

Me and the family camped and floated and they were great and friendly people. I would recommend them to anyone, we will be going back for sure. I wish I had found them many many yrs ago.

We were very pleased with the friendliness and helpfulness of Harvey's Alley Springs Canoe Rental. They helped us (newbies to the river) find the perfect stretch to float, picked us up at the camp ground, and took us to the most beautiful stretch of river that I have ever seen. Great experience and would use them again!

We did not book a canoe or float trip, but my boyfriend and I stopped at the store a few times while we were camping. They had everything we needed and the prices were very reasonable.

We rented kayaks from Harvey's and floated down from Bay Creek to the park just above the bridge. We paddled quite a bit and it took us 2 hrs 45 min. The people at Harvey's were so nice and accommodating in every way. The Jackson Fork river was absolutely beautiful--gorgeous scenery, the water was clear and cool but not icy cold, and we saw tons of fish, turtles, etc. along the way. So relaxing. Carol at the store recommended water shoes (which I had not brought along) and my husband and I purchased some.... since we ended up in the water a time or two, it definitely saved our regular shoes from getting ruined. If I did it again, I would wear my swimsuit underneath my other clothes.Bottom line--we had an awesome experience and highly recommend Harvey's!

Harvey's is close to the Alley Spring campground...they came and picked us up from our campsite and took us back after our float. Caleb was super nice :) I thought it was a little expensive for 4 tubes and a cooler tube, but maybe 90$ for all that is pretty standard. Their little store was nicely stocked with stuff too...and not at rip off prices. My husband needed a hatchet and it didn't have a price and the man only charged him like 11$ for it...now that I think about it, we did add a couple items to our purchase so the tubes were like 75$...anyway, I recommend them :)

We have floated many areas and states no other outfitter has ever outdone harveys. Cant say enough good about them. never any problems and always willing to accomodate. Best outfitter on the Jacks Fork River. Messed up 3 times and didnt use them, when we first started floating. Since we found Harveys we wont use any other outfitter

Harvey's catered to our every need especially during the government shutdown. Yes that's right folks during the current government shutdown the feds actually shut down Jacks Fork & Current river. If it wasn't for Harvey's we would have driven 6 hours for nothing. Harvey's was able to set us up with our own personal gear so we could float. I must re-iterate the words "personal gear" in order to protect Harvey's from any wrong doing and indicate we had to buy the gear as opposed to rent due to the fact that the feds were not allowing any "rental" equipment on the river. I will always use them in the future and highly recommend them to anyone.

We have also gone to Alley Spring several times. We have always used Harvey's and have never had a problem. They are courteous and prompt. They even let us change our start time at the last minute because a late night thunderstorm kept us from getting up and around as early as we should have. Next time we go back, I will definitely use Harvey's again.

I have been going to Eminence since I was a kid and try to keep the tradition up. We ALWAYS use Harvey's for our floats, they are always fun. courteous and don't mind if our dog rides along in the drop off/pick up vehicles. My newfy even road next to the van driver while our entire group was in the back before lol. We love Harveys!
