hercules glades wilderness area

Not many times in life you can go hours upon hours without a soul around. No cars, no people, no planes. We only passed one car on our drive to the Hercules Glades Wilderness. Some of the best hiking I've ever done. Secluded. You start at the top of a mountain. You walk the ridge down to the bottom. You'll cross two streams multiple times so wear goretex boots. There are bear caution signs when you first sign in. I can't wait to go back and hike again.
