doc's tavern

We were on the east side of town and stopped in at Doc's. We have actually been back a couple times since our last review. We ordered tacos, Scottish eggs and potato skins. The Scottish eggs are great. We both enjoyed our tacos. The potato skins were very good. Each time we have been there it has been clean. The staff is very attentive and friendly. They have wi-fi. There was sports on the TVs this time. It is a nice change of pace from our usual haunts.

We found Doc's Tavern while looking for someplace different to get out and have a beer. It is clean. The bar is split up into two different areas. One side is more like a tavern/bar setting. The other side, more like a lounge with easy chairs, low tables with lower lighting. There are TVs, but not an over abundance. No sports was on the afternoon we stopped, which was actually refreshing. Our waitres was friendly and checked up on us regularly. The have 10 to 12 different beers on tap. Our appetizer was good with what appeared to be homemade chips. There are also burgers, sandwiches and other items on the menu. They have daily specials. Although it was pretty sparce when we arrived, Doc's seems to do a good after work business. The lounge side was filling up as we left. Will go back again.

Owners are actively involved in day to day of business. Wonderful service. Attentive but not intrusive. Excellent appetizer and meal choices too. Cozy atmosphere
