This park has really cool fountains that run when it is warm out. They also have Christmas lights for the holiday season. Great little hang out if you are in the downtown area. There isn't any equipment for children to play on so don't expect that.

Nice park with park-wide Christmas lights. We attended the lighting ceremony and "Santa's arrival" sponsored by the city and hosted by a radio station.

We walked through the park when it was decorated for Christmas. It was a nice little stroll and seemed very safe.

This is a nice park with pretty fountains and water features, bring water shoes so you can walk through it!

Did the walking trail. Loved watching the kids playing in the Ozarks Stream and Fountain. Large boulders for kids to climb on. Has a huge amphitheater and unique play features such as a towering silver robot that, upon turning a wheel on the side of the base, swings its arms and legs. Beautiful park right in the middle of downtown. Adjoins an Ice Park, the Creamery Arts Center and Hammons Field.

The fountains are so much fun! My family had a great time playing and exploring this area. The sculptures are very fun and there's lots of little places for kids to play. Springfield has done a great job of utilizing this area and turning it into a very lovely space!

As we were leaving the Cards. game and headed to the parking garage, I looked over and saw some unique sculptures beyond the entrance of this park, so we make a quick decision to go investigate. We are so glad we did. This is a gorgeous, little park with several interesting features for kids to play on and enjoy. It also a fountain area we loved and this park is just a great place to relax - maybe a little too relaxing as we saw 2 people (not hobos just people) one napping under a tree, and one sleeping under the playground features. We thought that was odd - maybe students from the University? Otherwise this place is worth checking out for sure!

This is a really cool place to while away a sunny afternoon. The sculptures and layout is so nice and you don't realize you are in a small space. I love this place.

I took the kids a while back, and this ice rink is so fun. I grew up in chigacoland, and miss those skating times, and the smelly practices. Exclude the smell of hockey players, and you have a great thing to do with the kids or as a couple. The attentive staff was right there for the litle ones. They are safty-conscious, which is a comfort as a parent. I just had to stop being a hoolgan. :-)I would suggest this place, either for free skate, leagues, or for lessons. They are really top notch, coming froma person who has spent more than 1000 freezing my tookus off on the ice somewhere. :-)

Nice place to take a walk..stroll..stop and talk with friends. It was very clean. We enjoy each time we are there.

I like that it is in midtown, walking distance from our home, and that there is a lot for the kiddos to do..not to mention the AWESOME sledding hills when it snows!
