Thank You Capt. Kenny!!! I have been fishing for many years and this day was one of the best. Capt Kenny is a Pro, you can tell he was raised in the area. He put us on several Spec Trout early in the morning. He then moved us over to the LA Marsh Area and I caught a real nice Jack and several catchfish. Then he moved us in deeper into the Marsh, and the battle was on. We caught 11 Bull Reds 33" to 37", and 6 big Black Tips Sharks. All of this action happened the first week of August when fishing is slow. I already told Capt. Kenny I will be back in October.

This fishing trip was the first for us in these waters, but our guide knew the water like the back of his hand, We were fishing for speckled Trout and Red Fish in the coastal waters of the Mississippi River. We arrived a few days after a long stretch of bad weather, so fishing was slower then normal. Our guide had to work hard to put us on the fish but did great, I would highly recommend this trip to anyone coming to this area. Capt. Matt was spot on and the other Capt.'s kept us informed of other action in the area.

I have been on multiple charter fishing trips and this was the best. We went for a bachelor party trip and had a blast. Jimmy is by far the best captain I've ever had on a charter fishing trip. He wouldn't let us bait a hook or taker off a fish. He almost wouldn't even let us get our own beer. He was the nicest captain we have ever had. He also was very knowledgeable and put us on a mess of fish. We wound up with a great haul on what looked like a pretty slow fishing day. Three of us had caught some reds and he wouldn't go in until my last buddy caught a red. Trust me....great charter trip. Make sure you ask for Jimmy ( I think is part time and only works weekends).

Capt. Matt put us on the specs at our first stop about 5:50 a.m. We filled a fish box and then headed further out where we caught more Specs and a Pompano. We met up with Capt. Sonny and Capt. Kenny and got into another bunch of Specs and then some Triple Tail. By the time it was over, we had filled two fish boxes. It was great! Captain Matt provided everything i.e. gear, tackle, live bait, soft drinks and snacks. His boat boat runs fast and dry and he even cleaned our catch.
