it was clean easy to find machines that i wanted to play food at the buffet was great. the rooms were cheap and the were good overall. con not in the same building as the casino
Machines were soooo tight. Old decor. Good location. Could not win anything. Never saw anybody winning. Old. Needs updating
Had a 2 for 1 at Bally's Casino Katts Buffet. $17 for 2 is not bad but the food was disappointing. The fish was over cooked, the pork ribs tasted like they were baked, not smoked, the fried chicken is better at Kentucky Fried Chicken, and the peel and eat shrimp had no spice at all. The best was the Oriental beef and broccoli. The desserts looked like they had been there all day and the ice cream machine had chocolate in the vanilla and swirl selectors which isn't good on blueberry pie. Nothing was bad, just nothing was very good. The Casino part was ok, typical casino.
this casino, is rather old, but they still have plenty of new slot machines, along with the older traditional reel machines, which happen to be my favorite! The worker's there are friendly!
always friendly but just the usual. Few new machines and the same tables. Takes a long time to get drinks
We stopped here on our way out of town after a week-long tour of the Tunica casinos, and I was deeply distressed that we hadn't discovered it earlier in the week! The bar has probably twenty different craft beers on tap, along with nickel poker machines! I could easily have parked myself there for a couple of days if we had discovered it earlier in the week!
No wonder why no one was there..... old games terrible hotel The only good thing about the place was the pool area.
Had to go to Memphis for a family thing and decided to spend the night, and doing so, I made my rounds of all the casinos and Ballys was my first stop. First thing you notice is the hotel is a separate building from the casino, not walkable but they have a shuttle. I was not staying there so that was no issue for me.The casino looks like an old barn on the outside, walked in and the smoke smell was there but its expected in a casino. What shocked me about this casino was how small the table games section was and what they had open. They had like four tables open, 2 blackjack and one roulette and a Craps table, all the dealers were standing around. I went to get a players card and was shocked to learn, which seems to be theme in Tunica is that there is no free play or promo for signing up. After getting my card I went to the shoe blackjack game (they had a 2 card pitch game as well) and played about 8 hands, won all of those, then lost one and decided to walk away while I was up, gave the dealer a tip and was on my way. The dealers and pit boss seemed friendly and they seemed to enjoy having some action at the table. If you like a cozy atmosphere this is your place.
I thought it would be alot nicer interior was dull dark dingy feeling couldn't get help with $ changer issues was a dissapointment, won't be back !!
Most of the slot machines were down for updating. The area that was left was very crowded, there was only two ladies on the floor taking drink orders and such. So went to the bar to get my own drink and there was nobody there. The lady at the desk was nice when we got our players card. I will go back, but will check and make sure they are fully up and running next time.
Of all of the casinos in the area this was the worst. As you enter the property the sign states slots and video poker. Once inside we checked high and low and only found very few video poker machines (at bad odds). The casino seemed to lack even the standard mix of video slots available at any of the other area casinos.
We did not stay at Bally's but played at the casino & ate the buffet. The casino was really fun. An abundance of penny machines. The buffet lunch was wonderful for $8.99 pp. This was a yummy surprise. Makes we want to steal the rib recipe. Baked no sauce. Everything was tasty and we had a pleasant experience.
The game selection was ok but really spread out. There didn't seem to be any of the newer 3D slots and few that were very interesting to play.
We had breakfast there, at the front snack bar. Good price for bacon/egg meal. Then we played keno at the bar for hours. The machines are spaced so nicely, you don't have someone right next to you. You have elbow room! We won a few times, but then started losing, so we left.
Don't agree with last reviewer, very smokey on our visit, a Friday night, clothes reeked, machines very close together, lot's of people sitting by machines, but not playing them, constantly getting bumped by people due to the closeness of the machines. Wife and I agree 80 to 90% of the gamblers were smoking. Stayed at the hotel, didn't have a reservation, mentioned we seen $59.00 price online, which the person in charge booked us for. That was nice.Only a sheet and bedspread on the bed though, no extra blankets, so turn up the heat. Also no WIFI available, which almost everyone has these days!Handicapped room to cramped!
