Great out of the way place with an excellent beer selection for such a small bar. They have music some nights from established bands to locals making their debut at open mike night. The patio is relaxing outside and the staff are very friendly.Have been back several times and plan to go again. Very casual and welcoming with a wide range of customers.

Always love going to see shows at The Space. Sound is always amazing! The do not serve alcohol, but across from them is The Outer Space which serves beer and wine!

I'll start with the downside: inattentive/understaffed bars, cash only, no ice?! There was one bartender at each of the two bars. The bar with the larger selection was run by a young girl with a bad attitude and zero ability to serve the next person in line. She so painfully neglected to take my order, the people around me were all commenting on it. I decided to purchase my 2nd drink at the small bar, even though they didn't have what I wanted, just because the girl working it was much more pleasant - she even smiles. Moral of the story: come here to see music, stop somewhere else for a drink before. The rooms are great and the acts they're bringing in are diverse and interesting. The sound at the front of the stage was off - couldn't hear vocals or bass. I relocated to the back of the room and still had a decent view (I'm 5'3") and the sound was excellent. I will definitely come back and am excited this music resource exists.

The place to go in southern ct for local music. Beer & wine available at the Outer Space and they have many different kinds to choose from for the beer snobs.
