Nice shade trees, and the Memorial is planted with hydrangea and roses etc. there are benches too. If you need a walk your dog place, I've seen several here. Which is good and bad depending how you feel about dogs.

Academy Hill is in Stratford's Historic District across the street from Judson House Museum. There is an open field where colonial re-enactments are held occasionally and several large monuments. This area is free and open to the public. During the winter, the side hill is a popular sledding place.
