I loved attending school here. The campus is beautiful. The instructors are committed to the students. Class sizes are small. There is a rich catholic history here.

We just discovered this little gem in West Hartford. St. Joseph's has a splendid collection built upon a gift from Father Andrew Kelly, a local art collector who got to know many artists and bought their works while they lived. The strength of the collection is early 20th century American artists, particularly from Connecticut and nearby states. If you visit the gallery by June 10, 2012, you can see a large portion of this collection on display. And you SHOULD see it if you can. The Wadsworth Atheneum will give you the high spots of early 20th cent. American art, and this gallery display will fill in the story and give you the depth of what was going on in art then. I recommend this exhibit very highly and also recommend that you keep the gallery's future shows in mind. Free and free parking.
