Peaceful, romantic, food lovers, hikers, outdoors men/womens dream! Only advice, pack a bag of snacks/drinks along with a favorite wine or liquor. Food is wonderful, along with drinks, but expensive. Save your $ for meals and bring your own munchies.
Scenery was beautiful. The roughs were ROUGH. Greens fast. Bring plenty of balls, but do come. It is a once in a lifetime experience that all golfers should treat themselves to.
Just riding through the area is breathtaking, peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful scenery. Saw all types of wildlife. Well maintained and the people were so friendly.
Great vistas and very enjoyable course. Not easy, and very challenging. Expensive but as a VSGA one day event it was well worth the trip south from Vienna, Va.
It seems it could have about six to eight signature holes. Greens are big and well manicured. Tee markers take a little getting used to and signage overall could improve. If anyone finds a titlest pro vi please return. I donated numerous to the fescue rough.
Stunning views on this well maintained course. You are hitting from the tops of the mountain. There are very few people on the course so play moves at a nice pace. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly.
This was a great course... but challenged us for sure! Lots of fun and required a deal of skill to avoid loosing your ball down the side of the mountain!
Played in early May and course was in very good condition. Solid experience all around. Tee times every 15 minutes is nice, as the course is pretty challenging. If you are not in the fairway, recovery is not easy and is time consuming due to the terrain.
LOVED everything about this course! Very difficult & it will challenge your best Golfing skills, but it's worth every moment you spend there!
Awesome! One of the best places we have ever stayed-the Staff go over the top to please. A 'Must-Do' for everyone at least 1 time.
This course lives up to its hype. Unbelievable mountain golf and if you are a guest at the lodge and get warm wetaher in the winter, the 50 dollar green fee is unbeatbale! The golf pros in the shop are awesome as well!
Fabulous course at the Primland Lodge. We played in late fall/winterl when the trees were bare. I can only imagine how beautiful the course looks with the trees are in full bloom. We payed $135 per person. I don't know what the rates are in the "on" season. We live about 80 miles from Primland, and plan to play the course again next spring. One of the nicest public course I have played.
This golf course is amazing!! It's built right on the mountaintop with steep drops. It is rather expensive but this is one course that you have got to play at least once.
My husband played the course while my 2-year-old daughter and I rode along. He said that the course was great and really enjoyed playing there. The staff was helpful and friendly and the views were outstanding. This is a beautiful course!
Pristine...challenging and the fairways feel like carpet under your feet...the golf pro and V.P. came out to the course to make sure we were having a great time...and we were...its truly gorgeous
