the shoppes at mauzy

We were on our way home on the back roads (no other reason we would have gone through New Market, VA). This is the type of place we love to just stumble upon. This used to be an 1800s stagecoach inn and is now being used as an antique store (also offering local artwork, handcrafted items, jams and jellies, etc.). There are several other old buildings on the property containing things you can buy (general store, old school house, old lock-up which was a jail, and an ice house). I enjoyed seeing and walking through the old buildings just as much as I did looking for something to purchase).
