After reading about the place in a book,we were pleased by the building,the ambiance and the friendly staff who allowed us time to browse the artificacts from a bygone era! Fantastic location,right by the waters edge. Don't forget to look out for The Liars Bench!!!

We stopped in following our lunch at Mallard's. There isn't a lot to see, but what is there is well worth the time. It is a story of a time past that has been documented well. If in the area be sure and visit.

Does a great job of citing articles and placing the location in historical context. Artifacts on display as well but you need to take time to care enough to read the displays. At the pier and next to (and under) the restaurant so parking may be an issue in season.
