Our family had never had a raspa before, but we enjoyed them so much we had to stop twice- once on our way to Big Bend and then coming back from Big Bend several days later. We were dreaming of raspas on our long hot hikes in Big Bend. A raspa is snow -cone like but the ice is much smoother and soft like snow. On a few of our raspas we had ice cream at the bottom, which made it taste like a fancy creamsicle, delicious! The syrup makes the raspa very sweet; the first time we went we each had our own, the second time we shared two and it was much better. Awesome place! The owner is very friendly and she actually makes trips to Mexico to get candy for her store.

Pistachio to remember. Only in Kathmandu have I had such luscious pistachio ice cream. They could expand their Mexican items to purchase- picado banners and toys and fun stuff.

El Presidente! The best ice cream treat I've had in years. They have a wall of Mexican candy for sale, and gift shop.
