Cool place to hang out and enjoy a craft beer! Met up with some riding buddies here on a Thursday and we were greeted with front row motorcycle parking. It's great when people welcome us bikers and shows us some love! We all enjoyed a variety of beers and wine as we relaxed under the pecan trees. Later we ordered pizza since that was the only food truck there (be sure to get your order in early so you don't have to wait over an hour) and it was delicious! The owner of Random (Michael), was more than hospitable to us along with the excellent staff. We all had a great time and will definitely return in the future! Looking forward to trying a food truck by the name of Firehouse Fare next time we go up there. Everyone was saying how tasty / unique they are! This is a great place to meet up and hang out along with being kid / pet friendly!

Random is a great way to describe this place. I think it used to be a house or farm back in the day and someone purchased it and converted it into a nice place to hang out. Its a couple miles off of I-10 in Boerne, and a place you would probably never know about unlesssomeone took you there (this was the case with me). It has the feel of hanging out in someones back yard, rather than a bar.It is a several acre property with lots of parking, tables to sit at, and a play area for kids. There is a stage there which often has someone playing or singing live music. Its a great place to go when the weather is nice. A good thing to note is that its also cooler and less humid here than San Antonio since it is in the "hill country." So if it is hot and steamy in San Antonio or surrounding areas, there is a good chance it will be more pleasant here. Most of the tables are distributed outside on the lawn, but there are some covered under a patio area by the bar. Therefore you probably want to go when it is not raining or wet.They have a ton of beers on tap, plus wine and other refreshments. For your food needs, they enlist food trucks from various restaurants and caterers in the area to come and set up shop. These are not construction site food trucks, they are run by "foodie" type people and have some quality food on board. The only downside of crafty type food is a slightly higher price. They have lots of trucks and variety if you do choose to eat here, and something for everyone. Can't find someone to watch you kids or pets that evening, no problem...bring them along and everyone can have a good time!

Friendly, backyard type atmosphere. 80 craft beer ON TAP. Kid and pet friendly. They have inflatable bouncy pad and slide for kiddos plus large open field for ball and frisbee. Sometimes they have live music. Food trucks rotate in and out. We really enjoyed ourselves and the grandkids had a blast. We will be back.
