The peacan brittle was the best I have ever had. The staff was very knowledgable about all the different flavors they offered in peacans. Very friendly.

Received a Pecan Tin (fabulous Pecans-White Chocolate, Milk Chocolate and Candied) for Christmas, LOVE IT!!! They sale shelled pecans, all things pecan. And, they have a lovely gift shop and you can pick up mementos and items to give as gifts. Stop by and you will be greeted by some of the friendliest staff.

Great for gifts to send to family wanting a taste of Texas. They have a large variety of Texas themed gifts. Fresh pecans every season.

On our way from Austin, Tx. to home...Sulphur, La., we stopped at Berdoll Pecan Candy and Gift Company on Cedar Creek, Tx. We tasted the sea salt dark chocolate pecan popcorn and really enjoyed the sweet and salty combination. We also tasted their peaches...delicious! What we did not taste, but bought, was the chocolate pecan pie...by no means not the best purchase. If you can taste it and it taste good, buy it. If you cannot taste it, do not buy it! The staff were super friendly. I would probably stop there again, but definitely not for the pecan pie!

What everyone says about the pecan goodies is true. If it has pecans in it, they have it. All flavors. They also do peaches and tomatoes in the summer, and we bought some very good ones. Not the cheapest place, but they had some very tasty ones. The location is about halfway between buc-ees and the airport on 71. North side of the street, giant red digital sign. Easy to get in and out. They do have some small yellow signs along the road and they start a bit early, so we actually thought we missed it the first time. When you walk in they have some scented candles burning with pecan related smells. It is pretty effective in making you hungry for more.Great gifts, serious and gag, if you need something like that.

Stopped in today hoping to get some pecans and or candy. One young girl was friendly and offered samples of 3 different fudges. Other ladies working in the store seemed as if we were bothering them when we asked a question. Did not get any pecan candy as it is all only available in 1 lb bags (and I asked to be sure). Who needs or wants to buy this much of one type of candy? Most places offer either 4oz or 8 oz bags as an option. Not worth stopping in my opinion unless you want to stock up on on candy or pecans in bulk.

My 12 yr. old daughter and I popped in on our way back to Austin to buy some roasted salted pecans (a little pricey but always worth it - always good!) And while we were there she spied the Red Velvet fudge. We asked for a sample before committing but we were told by the girl that we could only sample what they had pre-selected. Since that didn't do anything for us - we just bought the pecans and left. I think that if I am asking for a sample - it should be the one of my choosing when I'm trying to make a decision. Bad business policy in my opinion.

Great place to grab any gift for your pecan loving friends and family. Also, they sell pecan shells that are great for smoking meats. Very tasty dessert toppers are also available.

You can get the best pecans and all kinds of goodies. During the summer they have kinds of fresh veggies. This would be a great place to stop and check out. It is on Highway 71 on your way to Austin, Texas. Give it a try.

For the weary traveler it is a rejuvenating stop. Every kind of pecan specialty you can think of. Fudges to test every fudge lovers taste buds. Awesome selection of novelty items to take home to those friends you always bring something home. Texas pride shown there. Friendly employees and very hospitable. Fresh produce is awesome in season. Tomatoes and peaches that you can really taste.

Unusual gifts and delicious pecan treats. And you must have a photo taken with the giant squirrel. Family owned and operated.

So there's two main ways into Austin from where I live. Most of the time I'm headed north but I always tend to come through 71 or leave that way, depending on my reasons for visiting just to stop here! I absolutely love love love this place...their big scrolling sign to their pecan clusters, and their chocolate covered strawberries, to their delicious pecan pie! it's no wonder it was placed so far from me! I spend way too much when I go but very worth it.

Anyone traveling down Hwy 71 can't miss the huge digital red lettered sign flashing high above the street. Take a break, go peek inside. Tons of great Texas souvenirs and every kind of pecan treat imaginable, from pies (killer!) to different flavored pecans (chocolate, salted, etc etc etc). You can even buy a pecan tree! Sometimes they offer vine ripe tomatoes too. And yes, they're not kidding about the 24-hour vending machine outside that *does* dispense pies and pecans! Of course you can't resist a photo with Miss Pearl the Squirrel, a huge critter right in the parking lot. There's something for everyone, great for a family to stop and gather souvenirs and snacks. The prices might seem high but these are quality nuts and the pies are to die for. They can ship your items too! Enjoy, it's worth the stop.

Aside from all the fantastic pecan goodies, and there are plenty including sugar free varieties, this place is a must if your anywhere near Hwy 71. Well worth the drive from Austin. Lot's of cool gift's and knick knacks but the real treasure is the pies and fudge. Amazing!
