frio bat flight tours

The bats fly out and u can watch as millions just continue to pour out. It's amazing how many are in that cave! Don't leave early because the second group that flies out fly even lower than before. Some people left early and missed the experience of actually hearing the flapping of their wings through the air. Such an amazing experience!

Incredible sight, makes you understand how easily man can ruin our environment when you see how fragile our ecosystems are. What an awesome experience.

This was awesome. So amazing to see the bats fly out. Guide was informative and helpful. Don't leave early, staying to the end allows the crowd to leave and you can hear the bats flapping wings. A must do at the Frio River!!!!

The drive from San Antonio was beautiful. The speaker was knowledgeable about the history of the Frio bats, their habitat, and their purpose to the surroundings. Best of all was having the bats stream out of the cave just over your head. A definite do-over event.
