The Crighton theater is a charming community theater located in Conroe, Texas. The building itself is worth a visit. Totally refurbished 1934 theater building. They've done a nice job with the restoration. So much character in this building. Plays are always entertaining and the actors are a very enthusiastic and come from all sorts of backgrounds. They do an especially nice job with musicals.

We love coming here for a date night, we came to a show last year and now try to catch every show we can. Some are better than others but we've enjoyed all of them so far. Great way to sit back, relax and spend time together.

Wonderful historic theatre and great experience for the musical "Hairspray" currently in production. This venue is a great to see live shows....check it out for sure.

For a community theatre, with many children and young adults in the cast, it was well done and very professional.The theatre itself is like a walk back in time - Laurel & Hardy, John Wayne, Charlie Chaplin?

Great place to see live shows. They have different things to choose from and have a great set up inside. Perfect amount of seating and air conditioned. Loved our experience!

My fav group is Stage Right that is now at the end of its 4th or 5th season. The tickets are reasonable, the actors/plays are wonderful. Sharity Productions also brings in top name entertainers with the tickets being reasonably priced. ALso, the Sounds of Texas season is offered with top name singers. James Bingham, Manager of the theatre, keeps things in order and brings in additional special events.

Great place for a smaller concert. Acoustics are good, every seat is a good one. Volunteer staffers are 'down home' people, nothing fancy, just great people. Plenty of nearby parking, eateries, and beer.

I love history and always have, this beautiful lady (all theatres are called ladies) is full of history,built in the 1930s ,with 80 years this lady is a grand dame ,attractive inside and out and full of spirit .When your looking for something to enjoy for an evening she will stand with the best of them, so go see her and have fun.

We had a great time and enjoyed the show very much. Nice that it's local and you don't have to drive far or spend a lot to see something worthwhile!

Great old, historic theater building. Wonderful performances. This group always gives 100%. They offer many varieties of entertainment. Musicals, comedy's, tributes, local artists and traveling performances as well. Check their calendar of events to see the many choices they offer. Something for everyone.

A little jewel hidden in the Conroe area. Good value for the money. Trying going to Houston or New York to see a play for less than $30.

We have been to 2 plays here and for local talent, it is surprisingly Great. Try it on a week-end afternoon and see what you think. We love it!!!! Easy parking one block away and it is free.

We were season ticket holders. They have started repeating their productions. We are now going to the Owen theater. We saw some very good productions and we saw some very mediocre productions.

The historic theater has such charm with good plays every other month, as well as occasional live concerts. There are some cool pubs nearby with ample parking.
