I was looking for an old crock to use in my kitchen for utensils and did not want to spend $50. I visited the Whistle Stop on my way into Houston one day and was thrilled to find what I was looking for - I bought two and spent less than $50 for both! They have so much to look at and I want to go back soon to see what new stuff they have. If you love to visit antique shops add this one to your list. You will not be disappointed.

Whistle-Stop Antiques is located just east of the downtown area on Austin St. [Hwy 290]. The large, clean, and bright building is home to dozens of booths, filled with a wonderful variety of antique furniture and household items, vintage clothing, pottery and glassware, books, Americana, collectables, and much more. We spent over an hour drifting from booth to booth and finding a number of fun things to take home. Plenty of parking and a friendly, helpful staff. We look forward to our next visit. A must-stop in Giddings.
