Debbie and Mike have brought art appreciation and an attention to detail in framing works of art that only exist in major metropolitan centers. They have framed innumerable art works for us with an attention to style, detail, and design that only museum curators would appreciate.

I had not been in Rivers Edge Gallery since they expanded. A friend invited me to accompany her to see a fabric artist, Ms. Cullins, doing a demo in the gallery. Wow, what a treat to view the gallery. There is something beautiful to see every where you look --paintings, bronze, jewelry. It is quite a mix of styles and media, a feast of eye candy. As a native Texan, I can never see enough bluebonnet pictures!I got a glimpse of their custom framing area and was impressed with the variety of frame choices. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. The owners are delightful and very knowledgeable. They are happy to help, but not intrusive.The fabric artist was creating pictures of pets from photos or real models. She sketches the animal on the fabric, machine stitches outlines, and then paints in the fur. She is very talented. My friend has a black Puli, and he is very hard to photograph. I believe she is going to order a fabric portrait.I sat down to rest a moment, and, much to my delight, I was visited by the gallery's 4 dogs! They were well-behaved, not pushy, and happy to be petted.The gallery is located in the downtown area of Kerrville. A visitor could spend all day in the Gallery, the Antique Mall, the great eateries, fun shops, and Kerr Arts and Cultural Center.

Not only is it beautiful inside the owners our extremely knowledgeable and very nice, a great place to visit for the artist in all of us

There is some nice art work here. The employees are nice and the rooms are interesting. The art varies, there is a little something for everybody. Some of the paintings seem to be priced very high for what you actually get, but others seem to be very reasonably priced.
