naranjo museum-natural history

I went here about 1 month after it opened. Surprisingly large collection of exhibits for such a small museum. They continue to add new stuff almost monthly. Very impressive.

While visiting my parents in Lufkin, we were searching for something fun to do that far away. We came across this gem. The actual paleontologist was there giving the tours. It was great to hear about each individual dig and different facts about the dinosaurs that you wouldn't typically know. Great place for all ages.
