Very dirty. We just did the arcade and a lot of the machines were broken. The whole place is pretty run down.
We came with a bunch of 12-15 yr old boys and they had a blast at the go-carts and putt-putt. The putt putt has seen better days but was an interesting layout multi level design. The go carts just didn't have enough speed or pick up but that does make them pretty safe. Again multi level good lay out. Interior games were ok. Cost of everything else seemed pretty high (food and drinks)
Normally I do not get so upset that I get online to post a review but I couldn't let this one slide. I will NEVER go back to Mountasia. It was a horrible experience. The place is ran by teenagers with attitudes. It has REALLY gone downhill and it's such a shame. My daughter was hurt on the go karts and they could care less. They didn't ask her how she was doing or apologize for the other unruly patrons who rammed into her go kart TWICE (which you are clearly NOT supposed to do and if the staff were watching close enough, they shouldve asked those individuals to exit the go karts ride). Teens just stand around the front counter like a waste of space. Customer service is non existent here. No adults around. No management around. Avoid this place unless you are okay with leaving Mountasia and heading to the ER.
This is another fun option if you're staying in the same areas as NRH20 (its right next door). It's not the most elaborate or newest miniature golf place, but we've played here a LOT over the years, and we always enjoy ourselves (even when it is blazing hot outside.) They have lots of deals if you want to play mini golf AND do any of the other attractions, including something that's new for this summer, giving you unlimited mini golf, go carts and a few other games (check their website, which offers a full menu of ticket/price options as well as online-only deals). My son and I just enjoy hitting either one or both mini golf courses - most of the holes have funny hills or cut-throughs on them, and we love going through the mountains and water falls. Just a fun and relatively inexpensive way to spend a few hours.
We only played mini golf on this visit, and didn't try the go karts or bumper boats. After seeing the condition of the putt putt course, I'm not sure that I would even feel safe in a motorized vehicle at this place. The rounds of putt putt were not terribly expensive, but they weren't particularly cheap, either; for three of us to play 2 rounds of golf, it cost us around $50. After paying what we paid, I expected to see a facility that was in good condition, but the course was far from that. The "greens" were all faded, torn, and generally worn out. The course looked old and dilapidated, and I didn't feel particularly safe going into the "caves" of the course. We didn't see anyone that made us feel unsafe, but the general disrepair of the course and lack of attention to cleaning made me concerned about their interest in security, too.My 10-year-old son did have a great time, and didn't seem fazed by the condition of the course, so this can still be a fun outing for a child, but don't expect to be impressed!!
First I'd like to say that this was my 2nd trip to Mountasia. The first with 4 children from 4-16 was amazing! The bigger kids stayed outside mainly and had a blast on the go karts and rides while the little ones stayed mainly inside with the bounce houses. Because of this we decided to go here for our staycation big event. We took 8 kiddos this time spending over 300.00. We purchased our tickets online.Kids ages 3-17. The older kids had a great time but for the little ones it was a complete waste of money!!They have closed the bounce houses. There were only 2 rides our 3 lil ones could do and 1 of them was shut down most of the day. They could ride bumper boats with an adult but we only had 1 adult who could ride so they took turns with each of the kiddos to ride once in a while. So for 8 hours our 3 lil ones rode in circles on cars and were lifted and dropped. It was NOT the fun place we promised them. For older kids this is still an amazing place but for younger kiddos STAY AWAY! It was so hard for our lil ones to just be able to watch the big kids have so much fun.Wish we had known before we purchased out tickets.
My grandson could spend hours on the cars so best to get an unlimited ticket. The crazy golf is fun with two courses each different. The game areas is for all ages..
The golfing area has two sides and is fairly-well kept. There are race cars and a few other rides. There is also a game room and snack bar. It is good for about half a day.
