We are not wine drinkers but we stopped in to check out the local honey and to see the bee hive. They have every imaginable kind of local honey - wildflowers, alfalfa, and so many more. They also have a bee hive that has a window in it so you can see the bees doing their thing. There is a wine bar set up but we did not try anything as we are not wine drinkers. But it looked very good!

We stopped here on a Saturday afternoon around 1:00PM. The winery is located in the Walker Honey Farm building, as they are both one in the same. We sidled up to the tasting bar and grabbed a stool. We were drawn to the honey meads since and made an excellent choice. We tried most of their dry meads, with a special taste of one not yet bottled. It was a peppery concoction that was quite fun. We ordered a couple of cheeses (a white cheddar and manchego) to snack on at the bar. It was the perfect lunch paired with delicious honey goodness. Everyone there was so welcoming and shared their drive and passion to create incredible mead concoctions. I believe they are and will continue to do so. Be sure to try the honey tasting bar and grab some to take home along with several bottles of delicious mead!

Neat little quaint winery just off the highway. Good family. They make their wines with honey.. They'll teach you about their wines and their honey products. They have numerous winesthor tasting. My husband and I have done 5-6 each and shared so we get to try all they make. They are very excited about what they do. A delight to visit this place any time.
