Everything is big in Texas. We went to the largest antique show in America. Over six miles of antique booths, buildings and barns. Here you can actually shop till you drop. This show is twice a year in March and October. I recommend it at least once in your life. Wear comfortable walking shoes. It was a blast from the past

We have recently returned from the BIG antique festival that takes place in the Round op Warrenton area twice a year, and had a great time. The event includes almost 70 different shows, in 6-7 different towns, spread over about 30 miles. There are thousands of dealers, and they say over a hundred thousand shoppers.The "official" show lasts about 4 days, but with the continuous preview weekends, and pre-preview weekends, most dealers are actually set up & selling about 18-19 days in a row. The different venues carry virtually every kind of antique known to man, and some flea market items also. It has to be the largest antiques venue in the world, and we highly recommend attending. Prices range from low to high, so you never know what you see, and what it will cost. We will go back, most likely to the springs shows, as we've been told that the ones in Oct can be pretty darn hot ! Bring your most comfortable shoes !Some shows have entry fees, and some don't. Our first trip to Round Top TX & we'll be back but next time we'll def take two days to do it!! The weather was perfect & there were miles of fun treasures to explore. Though next year we're not going to spend our time in the buildings w/the fancy antiques where they write you out receipts & you can use credit cards we're going to drive down the road where it looks more like a flea market or garage sale & folks are selling a wide variety of items from priceless antiques to "artsy crafts." We felt like HGTV or TLC ambassadors : ) Some buildings charged you a fee to enter ($10) next year we won't go to those, like I said we'll drive down the road a bit till we get to the fun shopping!

Miles and miles of antiques and what-not from allover the nation, all set up for 2 great weeks in fall (theres a Spring show too). Our first trip to Warrenton/Round Top, and thereare literally shows everywhere. Perfect forshoppers, designers, artists, and dealers. We are going to set up and vend here in the future!
