I stopped at this location after reading the signs while driving from Houston to San Antonio. I normally skip such places, I am so glad I didint. As soon as I walked in, I was offered a sample of flavored walnuts, and not pressured into buying anything at all. The food here is simply delicious, heart warming, and just make's you feel like your at home or your grandmothers home. The raisen cookies are to die for, and I would definitley recomend the cinnamon walnuts. You can always grab a cold rootbeer.The bathrooms are probably the cleanest I have ever seen while on the road, anywhere!Worth the trip everytime moving forward.

Saw the billboard on the way to San Antonio and, as luck would have it, needed to make a pit stop at just the right exit. Friendly people, clean restrooms, great store - and those pecans!!! I ended up buying 3 bags of their glazed pecans and got a catalog so I could order more for gifts at Christmas time!

From the moment you walk in the front door, the fragrance of roasting pecans is just heavenly! Cute little store with misc. gift items. Will stop here again next trip through Schulenburg!

The Potter Country Store is small but packed with delights from pecan pies to gift items. Their candied pecans are warm and yummy!

We saw this store advertising pecans so we decided to stop along our drive to San Antonio. We were so glad we did! Awesome little gift shop with pecans out the wazoo and neat jewellery pieces. We sampled awesome pecans and bought lots!! They sell great coffee here too. A little bit of everything! We liked it so much it was added to the GPS and we stopped again on our return to Houston. Definitely worth stopping at

If you like pecans this is the place for you. There are pecans of all flavors. Yummy! There are samples to try so you be the judge.

A neat little store right off the Schulenberg exit off I-10. The store has other items however is mainly geared to pecans with various flavors of pecans, pies, etc. They even have whole pecans in large bags and might I suggest if you but these consider buying the implement to crack them! Prices are reasonable considering what it takes to shell pecans. These products are very tasty and worth purchasing. The store clerk is helpful and cheerful. When she spotted my military ID in my wallet I was offered a military discount.

Stopped by one afternoon going to Houston from San Antonio & now it’s a must that we stop by! Boy do they have AMAZING pecans! Once you walk in they offer you a sample of caramel pecans & cinnamon sugar pecans!! They also have a fudge counter which they also give a sample of any flavor you want! They seriously have samples everywhere around the store of different items. & if you’re lucky, on some weekends they have samples of jelly or meat or even their pecan pie (like I said if you’re lucky).They have chocolate covered pecans, which they also have samples of, peanut and pecan brittle and just different snacks that are great for on the road. Not only do they have snacks, they have miscellaneous items. From purses to jewelry to car charms and even Tervis Tumblers, it’s too much to look at! The employees that work there are friendly & will help you with anything you might need. In all, just stop by if you have time, because chances are that you’ll spend a little too much time and money in here.
