riding and rafts

I've rented from these guys for years. They were located right near the gas station at the mouth of Alpine Canyon for years. I just found out they moved 3 miles south of Alpine because the property was sold this year.They are super friendly and just bought brand new boats for the 2014 season. We come up to run the river from Utah each year. If you are coming from Utah or Idaho and are wanting to run the river, this is definitely the most convenient place to rent a raft. It will save you time from heading into Hoback or Jackson to rent your gear. You pull up, they have a trailer for you, everyone grabs a life jacket and paddle and you are ready to go. The people are super friendly and helpful and the prices are also very fair for what you get. They also have ATV's and horses that you can rent and enjoy as well. This wasn't our first time using them and definitely won't be our last.

If you are comfortable riding without a wrangler, this operation will rent you horses for $80/day. Use their trail map to ride out of their corral into the National Forest near Alpine, WY. Although we have always taken horses for the full day, I think they will let you rent for a half day. Any day on a horse is a good day!
