Course was rough, has poor drainage, and overpriced for it's condition. Restroom on the back 9 was a porta-potty - that kinds says it all. Rough was very high, fairways were poorly maintained.
This course is low priced for A/C at $40 or $50 around. No coolers are allowed on the course (Come on). Its a typical municipal course. traps not raked, rough is hardpan and twigs. Good local course but for us on vaction is was a disappointment .
This is a great place to go to have an enjoyable meal, everything is cooked expertly and to perfection with unique flavors. Nice location & decor
Good service, nice venue, waiters and waitresses very accommodating. Not enough parking. Parking spaces seem small.
I've been to a few functions held at the Mays Landing Country Club and it's the same everytime. The place hasn't been updated in years and the atmosphere seems to be a downer.
Love to grab a bite to eat. Great food. Bueatiful Grounds. I also loved the Free Fun for the Family Night and Fireworks display. Great Family Fun.
Had a very nice dinner with former classmates. Food was very good. Service was also top notch.
We went here for a Christmas party last night with my husband's co-workers and their wives. The buffet was top notch---penne pasta with vodka sauce (outstanding), Mozzarella and Provolone salad, tossed salad, artisan rolls, garlic bread, Vegetable medley, Shrimp & Scallop Scampi, and a Prime Rib carving station with several different types of gravy. It was every bit as good as the buffet retirement dinner we attended there in August. Dessert served was a freshly made apple dumpling topped with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. Our water glasses were continually filled and dirty plates taken away immediately. I would definitely go back there again! well worth it!
Course good , service first class. and best food of any club in area.Really real upgrade in golf course conditioning, I will be Back!!!
Dat of play Nov. 12,2010Nutty November for $23.00. That is what the add said. I must of been nuts for going there. There was more grass in the cracks in the sidewalks than on the fairways or tee boxes. The only good thing about it was that there was no crabgrass. The greens if you could call them that were filled in with sod where they could and were bare in a lot of places. To add even more pain it was slow play with not a ranger or fresh water no where to be found. After a 3 hour front nine we all got a hot dog that was included in the price. When we came out the starter inserted another group in front of us on the tenth tee. Just what we did not need. Anyway the hot dog was pretty good. The owner should shut the place down until next summer and stop lying about all of the improvements that are being made to a perfect cow pasture if they had cows.
Should have known when the rate was only $23 with cart. And that was about $20 too much only because of the free hotdog. Rarely had a blade of grass under the ball in the fairway, most greens looked like quilts with all the patchwork that was done. Feel like even at $23 I got less than I paid for.
I went to this place after looking at their website pictures. The course condition is nothing like the web pictures. There is missing grass every where and way over priced. I took some friends of mine who are new to golf and we finished 9 holes in 2hrs 15min. On the 8th hole some starter came over and said there was an outing two holes back and pick it up, so we do and now we get stuck behind a group whom they started on the 10th hole. This added another 1hr to the round. The course is in bad shape, they r rude, and over priced. If you are in the area check out mcculloughs, twisted dune, renault winery, or blue heron these course are in another league.
