Think backyard swing set and neighborhood walk - nice community park with jungle gyms, swings, slides, walking paths, stairs to climb (watch for handrail and splinters), restrooms (ok), and BBQ with covered area for party. Just don't feed the ducks since they will swarm around the little and big ones alike - nice place to play!
The only times we've been able to come here this month (our first time here) the park has been extremely well maintained. Both times there was snow and ice on the ground. The most recent time, this week, there was a lot of ice on the walking path. It is a lot to pave, so it's understandable, but most of it was paved. The dog park is really well maintained and great. There's one for large dogs and one for small dogs. There's trash cans and doggy trash bags available. It's really clean. It's our new stop for our dog!Kids were really happy here and sledding down the huge hill. There are playgrounds too.
We go here every year for an annual cancer walk fundraiser. It is in a great location and has the pond with the ducks that the kids love, nice play area for the kids. A pavilion in case it rains and bathrooms.
Liked the three playground structures, waterfountains in the middle, walking trails, restrooms, gazebo (was rented out the day we were there), picnic tables. It was great to take the kids here for a quick break from all the sight-seeing and was less then 5 minutes from our hotel. Ample parking.
We lived in Mt Laurel 10 years ago. Laurel Acres is the go to for everyone! Great place to take the kids for sledding, fishing or just playing!
This is my favorite place to walk. The park is clean and well-kept with a very nice path around the lake and beyond. It's never very crowded (although I'm not here on the weekends) but there are always other people walking, fishing, exercising, or watching their children play on the great playground equipment, so I feel safe and comfortable walking. Afterwards I like to reward myself by sitting on one of the many benches, watching the lake or the dogs in the dog park, or listening to music or just reading.
Always either walking the dog or watching the boy play baseball , it's a lovely setting with a nice pond and a place for dogs to run free, the baseball section is great , we have such fun watching the kids wacking the bat!
I was coming here back in 2008-09, for some boot camp circuit training, sandbags up the mountain, & back, it it wonderful park, nice trial & pavilion for parties & restrooms .Fairly clean & in nice area.I have also been here for a Birthday party for toddler & it was just great time here.Just went back this past Monday with someone who loves the outdoors, & they loved it too..Take bikes & ride, lots recreational things to do here.
well kept, good for children Lots of ball fields but also has swings, etc on the Church Street side(why does this have to be 50 characters? that's all I have to say)
Clean, with rest rooms, trace for running or walking large hill for climbing, playground for children, fishing permitted with licenses lots of parking
Lots of things to do. My grandson loved the playground and the big hill. We spent a couple of hours there. It was a beautiful day and lots of thingsto keep us occupied.
This park is quite large, taking up several acres in Mt Laurel, NJ. There is a kids play area, a doggie park, various fields and courts for various games. It's a good place for a family outing.
love the separate areas for large & small dogs. always find friendly people & dogs. i take 2 goldens and they have always a great time. we go there as often as we can.
Wide open spaces. Take the kids to play on a variety of playground equipment or just go for a pleasant walk. Enjoy all ages playing soccer on a Saturday morning. Even a place to walk your dog. Plenty of parking. Restroom facilities in both parts of the park.
Grew up in this area, the Laurel Acres Park was my childhood go to place. Even many years later, it is still kept up nice, clean, and still a fun place to go. It has multiple play spots for kids, lots of walking room (around the lake), forrest trails to adventure threw, places to eat, and a fun hill to run around on.
