duke o fluke

During a recent trip to the Ocean City New Jersey area, we took a trip on the Duke O Fluke. This is a day trip flounder (Fluke) fishing, 5 hours of fishing in the back bays of New Jersey, including rods, bait and tackle. Bring your own food and drinks due to limited options and high costs on board. If you know anything about flounder fishing you will be the smartest person on the boat.Provided fishing poles were not the type used by any regular flounder fishermen. Stiff rigid deep sea poles make flounder fishing very hard. The worst part: The captain could be heard talking to another boat captain on his cell phone saying "we arent catching anything and we are going to be dead for the next couple hours" That was comforting as we tried to fish during a slack tide (slack tide is the inbetween tide when the water is not moving...water moving is important to flounder fishing). I would not waste my time again on a boat with poor equipment, bad timing, and a captain who has no faith that he can put us on the fish. Id rather buy a net and try my luck scraping the bottom.Trips are 5 hours long...about 3 hours longer than the captain thought it should be I guess.
