My 10 year old son. . Got off the ground 8 times in 2 days. . The guys have the patience of a saint. Very responsible cost. We also did the superman zip line and that was a blast 1,100 feet is the longest. If you want to learn something new and exciting here you go!

Morningside flight park wasn't my first pick in schools for getting my paragliding ratings, not because I thought it was inferior in any way, I just didn't know it was there! All the search engines kept pointing me toward a drive to the Midwest or Florida in hopes to get my paragliding training done in a fast-paced program that guaranteed I'd be soaring in a matter of hours! I am SO glad I chose to go to the program at MSFP and not one of the turn-and-burn tourist trap training factories.Nestled in the mountains of New Hampshire and right on the border of beautiful Vermont lies one of the most dynamic flying sites I have ever experienced and a group of some of the most talented instructors I have ever met. If you're curious about HG or PG training, my suggestion is you put MSFP on the top of your list.

I am a privat pilot and was looking to learn to paraglide. Morningside had knowledgeable and patient staff who helped me learn specifics of getting my P1 paraglider rating. I was able to purchase a used wing from the school and continue developing my gliding skills throughout much of the winter at a local playground here in New England. I look forward to completing another rating this summer at the flight park where I began.

I wanted to check out the whole hang gliding thing, so I booked an intro flight lesson with Morningside. When I arrived the staff seemed genuinely happy to see me. Our instructor T.J. was perfect. He was just the right combination of professional and personable. He walked through the entire process from ground school / basic flight, wing assembly, and basic takeoff / landing practices. The facility was very comfortable and the equipment seemed to be in very good shape. It was a great experience and a fantastic intro to hang gliding without the "Chaka Khan" attitude you might expect (for the South Park fans out there).

For the challenged traveler:I have a rare Neuro disease that has resulted in a speech disability and some mobility issues . This was a birthday gift from my kids as they know I would love this. The staff couldn't have been nicer. They made accommodations so I was safe and they never made me feel uncomfortable. The site is reasonably accessible and easy to maneuver. They even have a ATV that fetches you from the glider. For All TravelersWhat an experience. Soaring with the birds over 3000 feet up with gorgeous vistas of NH and Vermont. My instructor, Mark, was experienced, safe, eager to explain the technical details and point out the sites. A 20 minute ride went by in a minute. My wife was a bit nervous, but I was totally safe and never felt a twinge of fear. If you always wanted to try this, this is the place for you! I can't wait to do it again.

I took two of my friends and my family, including two young kids and a dog here for a hang gliding experience. What we got was an unforgettable vacation! The staff was so friendly and laid back. Our children and the dog were made to feel so welcome. Everyone enjoyed their flight experience. We camped there and had an amazing time(although beware-the campground is a super steep climb to the top of the hill where the paragliding lessons are), but what amazing views from your tent! The next day we all had a laser tag session in the woods-my two boys couldn't have been any happier. They kept chanting fun, fun, fun, fun. While we were playing, the office staff offered to keep an eye on my black lab-who had the time of her life playing with their dogs and jumping in the pond-she even found a dog bone at the campsite! We will definitely return for zip lining and plan on staying 2 nights so we have more time to just hang out.

This place is phenomenal! The offer tandem hang gliding rides with an experienced instructor, parachute rides, or a trip in their ultra light aircraft. Morningside also has a giant zip-line running through the forest down the back side of their mountain. Morningside flight park also sports some of the best camping around; they have running water but are located far enough from the city that the stars are very visible. I would definitely go here again

I've travelled to Morningside several times over the last two years, last time in August 2011. I am an H2 hang gliding pilot and my girlfriend is a beginner paragliding student. She actually started paragliding on this trip and within two half days of training (weather was variable so we only got half of each day) she was able to launch land and had a few flights powered by scooter tow. She was thrilled about it and she can't wait to go back. Her istructor was Heath, very knowledgeable and patient HG and PG instructor, I think that his personality helped her a lot develop a taste for PG. As far as I'm concerned Morningside flight park is unique in the North East in that its stepwise geography allows for gradual progress in flight length and altitude. It is the best place to polish on turning and landing skills under close observation of adept trainers. I plan to return there next month for a landing clinic. Additional info:Positive:- They use ATV to shuttle HGers, PGers and their pilots up to the launch site so you don't have to break down and set up your glider each time you fly or cary it up the hill.Negative:- A little hard to find for the first timer so print out your directions or set up your GPS- ATV shuttle can get expensive if you fly a lot but well worth it

The staff was very knowledgable and safety consious. We showed up in the morning for two tandem flights and had a great time. After being towed to altitude we stayed aloft for almost 30 minutes. At one point we followed some birds soaring and we too went up with them. Once in a lifetime experience.

A group of us went over labor day weekend 2010. The experience was just fantastic. The owner and pilot are very friendly, knowledgable and professional. The ride itself was an thrilling. If you are staying overnight the Common Man Inn located in Claremont is a converted mill on the water. Very nice and not too pricy.

Steve, the tandem instructor was amazing. I organized a group of 13 people to go up to tandem hang glide, he made everyone feel comfortable and try to get as many of up even though the forecast didn't look favorable. Red the pilot was very friendly and laid back and even took me up on his ultralight. They were very helpful and friendly. Steve drove his pick up truck to our group's campsite and took a couple of my members to collect wood, branches for our campfire. This is by far the best experience in my life and the service was bar none. We all love hang gliding and can't wait to go up again.

It was one of my most terrible vacation days ever! We had planned for a group trip. My GPS had no clue about the location so was late. When I found out where my friends are by accident on an old fashion road, I stopped my car on the corner of a nearby farm/house entrance, left the engine on with family inside and walked by the group/trainers asking where is the way to go. Suddenly and out of no where the assigned plain pilot (40-50s aged a bit white hear short guy) comes rushing and asking repeatedily and in most teenaged rude language "get the car out of there". I tried asking what is wrong? what is going on? can you tell me where is registration etc? as there was no sigs nor directions whatsoever. He insisted on his rude language and attitude and shouted to the farm/house sneaking neighbor "he does not listen". It was just TERRIBLE. Could not imagine worse. Finaly one of my quite friends came over and told me where registration is. His boss did not wanna listen to what happened either and insisted his "staff instructed me to move the car and I was not quick enough!!" am I supposed to be? may be if I was asked in as little possible civilized tone. What was worse was the "pilot" pretended he refused to take me up in the air!? even though the ticket was purchased in advance. I was not going to use him anyway, but you can imagine that "childish" personality of the most critical teammate on this risky trip. (by the way I learned later that neighbor farmer had sued these guys couple times so they were super anxious from any potential future reasons for another one) though does this justify them being rude to their "customers"
