rollins state park

The drive into Rollins park is beautiful. As you get higher, the views at the scenic vistas are fantastic. The parking lot provides the best view of all (outside of the hike up Mt. Kearsarge). There are toilets and there are plenty of picnic tables around, to make for a memorable family picnic.My only complaint would be the width of the road. Several times we had to pull over off of the asphalt to let a car go by in the other direction. This can be dangerous as in several places there's a drop off on the side of the road.

We drove up the road, had a picnic near the parking area (with a gorgeous view) and then hiked up to the summit. The hike was easy, my kids had no problem getting up there.

easy hike and beautiful vista at the top there is also a fire tower at the summit and the ranger is very informative
