Visited on Apple Day and at the end of season closeout too. Tommy has the best workers - always service with a smile, and even treats for your four legged furry friends! I have not rented paddleboards or kayaks there yet but plan to next summer with a grandkid or two! Hope Tommy comes back every summer for a long time.

To satisfy our desire to spend time on Lake Minnetonka while on vacation, we decided to check for kayak rentals. I came across this apparently new business right at the Port of Excelsior. What a find! Very reasonable rentals for both kayaks and paddleboards. The staff were extremely polite and accommodating as I needed to change my reservation day and time. They responded quickly and gave us some leeway so we could also finish our lunch before launching. We reserved our kayaks online and also filled out waivers. Check in was quick and we were on the water within minutes. Tommy's Trolley not only does rentals but offers the perfect lakeside snacks (hot dogs, chips, nachos, corn dogs, etc.) not to mention the very popular Sebastian Joe's ice cream. Gee, I can't comment on that, but I'll take everyone's word for it!
