My husband and i really enjoy the food. The steak sandwich is excellent. The atmosphere is fun and an escape from the busy casino.
Played 18 holes while staying at the hotel. On my top 10 list of courses in Minnesota. Food was phenomenal!
The staff seems a little laid back (like, uh, slow...), but very friendly and the food was good - had the tacos and potato skins - yummy!
This is a little bias seeing I work at the Meadows at Mystic Lake, but it's an awesome course! I am an avid golfer and played 3 of my 4 years in high school. I can personally say that I love the layout, and challenge. If you can I would advise taking advantage of the twilight rate, which will save you $20. Every cart comes with 2 waters, 6 tees, and 2 towels. The course is in magnificent condition, and I would advise making a plan to visit!
The coarse was in really good shape even if many players were not repairing their ball marks. The fairways were great as I walked across them and the rough where I spent most of my time can be tough, especially the second cut or tall grass. I played the white tees with our group so the coarse didn't play long so it may be a good idea to use a 3 wood off the tees just to keep it in the fairway. GPS on the carts is nice. I will play here again.
I really enjoyed playing at the Meadows. Nice views from each hole. I like the wildlife scatter around the course. Lots of waterfalls on the course. The holes were challenging but not impossible. The staff is very courteous- great service all around.Carts have a cooler and GPSGood experience overall
This is a very clean and well maintained park. The staff is very polite. There was a constant security presence. The $32.00 rate is very reasonable for this caliber of a park. It is walking distance to the restaurant and casino that are also very nice. I would highly recommend this RV park.
Food was excellent good prices great kids menu waitress was very nice and helpful Did not llike your gift shop the ladies working thr=ere were a couple of crabs
I LOVE the Meadows. By far, the best place to eat and drink in Mystic Lake. Service is great, food is good (some things better than other things), good pour on wine, prices reasonable.
Well maintained, nice amenities but the long grass off of the fairways makes to often for a very long frustrating day. Bring extra balls and even if you are better golfer your fellow players may make for a very slow round.
This is a very challenging golf course, but it's beauty makes it worthwhile playing. Several holes feature sculptures of native Minnesota wildlife such as bear, deer, etc.
We stayed at the Meadows RV resort for a month to visit family. We are golfers and wanted to get a few rounds in with friends and family. We played Meadows on the second day of our visit. The course was in resort condition. The fairways were expertly manicured and the greens were great. Also, the absence of housing and the beautiful nature surrounding the course was a huge plus for us. In addition the staff was very friendly. We also played Legends, Stonebrooke, and Ridges at Sand Creek. Meadows was by far our favorite and we ended up playing the course a total of 5 times! Another plus was that the food in the pub was very good. I highly recommend for a great golf experience.
Lots of water to challenge you, beautiful statues on every hole, all and all a great experience! Friendly staff and great prices for afternoon/evening play.
We ate here during one of the big late season snowstorms-- food and service were very good, but we especially enjoyed the great outdoors view and the wonderful fire.
I have never been able to score well here. Having said that, I feel this track is a great challenge for any level of golfer…especially since the wind seems to mess with your mind out here as it’s always blowing. The course offers multiple sets of tees at fair distances, large sloping greens with multiple breaks, tight landing areas but closely mown fairways giving a drive lots of roll, thick wrist-popping primary rough along with “kiss your ball good-bye” secondary rough, numerous bunkers and a good variety of water hazards that can all take their toll on your scorecard. My biggest complaint about this course is that for that past 2 seasons I’ve played this only days after fairways and greens were aerated yet the pro shop staff seemed to forget this little tidbit of info when describing the course conditions upon check-in! I felt cheated out of my green fee money which, even at the Fall rate of $60, was still a pricey 4 hours of frustration. The driving range is pretty much short irons only (due to the amphitheater in the background) and the quality of range balls is that which I’d expect to find at a local muny. The 2 practice greens are monster sized so at least there is a chance to get some good putting practice in before and after a round. The starter and food shack service is excellent and friendly. Overall, well worth the trip as long as you avoid the maintenance periods.
