My daughter and son-in-law took us to an evening with the folks from Brush Studio in St. Louis Park. Having no artistic talents whatsoever, we all were surprised at the finished product which was an acrylic rendition of the famous stone arched bridge in Minneapolis. Everything was set up and provided and with the step by step instructions from the resident artiste we, all four of us, came out a work of art. Brush Studio also provides food and beverages to include beer and wine which, I assure you, helped with the final product. All-in-all, a very enjoyable evening.

We had a multigenerational party (20 something daughters and their mothers) for a birthday on a Saturday afternoon. It was the perfect idea! You enter a very well equipped art studio, with a bar where you can by wine or beer...by the glass or bottle in the case of wine. They tell you exactly how much paint to put on your palate, supply you with a canvas, brushes, and everything you need. The artist talks you through a painting from blank canvas to finished product, encouraging, suggesting technique, and always making it fun. Every person had a unique painting to take home and no one was disappointed in their project. Soooo much fun! The area is full of shops and restaurants for before or after....even a very nice suite hotel just a 2 block walk away for a great weekend trip for out of towners.
