Love going here the volunteers have done a wonderful job.Great place for a photo shoot!Of course it is best when the flowers are at their peak but still worth it any time in the summer

Lovely, Lovely...water fountain, water features, butterfly garden, gorgeous colorful flowers, a Lilly pond, wind sculptures, and adorably free library! Lots of places to sit and enjoy this free beautiful place.

what a great place! I never expected to find this in the middle of Clear Lake. It's great for a stroll and a visit with friends. And it's fun to see the changing seasons

Built on the site of a former school, the Central Gardens in downtown Clear Lake are a nice place to spend a half an hour or so. The gardens are beautiful, and it looks like an expansion is underway. Plenty of shade and seating for a picnic or just to relax.

Used to love taking my younger sibling here. They just built a huge apartment building in the empty lot next to it. Really kills the mood. The city could have made that a community garden area. Who wants to get married with an apartment building as the backdrop?

It was an enjoyable place to walk and have lunch with my friends. We packed a lunch and enjoyed the horticulture.

This is a wonderful and interesting garden. It is well worth the visit. The plants are grouped. There is also a map located in the corner of the garden.

We stop at the Central Gardens at least once each summer. It seems like each summer they add more flowers and statues. Our most recent visit was this afternoon, when we spent an enjoyable hour wandering on the garden paths.The garden is located a few blocks north of downtown and the lakefront. It's surrounded by a wrought iron fence, and parking is to the south of the garden. Admission is free (donations welcome), and the garden is the size of 3/4 of a city block.There are several different parts to the garden including a fountain, small waterfall/pond, brick arch, and tiny creek. There's many varieties of flowers, shrubs, and trees. The roses were blooming and fragrant and absolutely gorgeous.There was a duck near the waterfall pond, just hanging out. The waterfall pond is beautiful, with lily pads covering the water. Another favorite spot of mine was the brick archway.Several people at the garden had their cameras in hand to take pictures. It's such a photogenic and peaceful place.
