This historic opera house is s beautiful venue for music Amc plays as well as renting for weddings and other gatherings.

If you're in town and there is something to see, I recommend stopping. The outside is beautiful and restored nicely.

There were no performances going on when we were here, but it was fun to walk inside and see the beautiful organ that is used here in this historic theater. There was an advertisement for a New Years Eve Party that was going to be here, and I wish we were going to be in town for it because it sounded like a lot of fun!

Within walking distance to the Royal Amsterdam, reasonably priced for a wedding with enough space for a small dance floor and disco.

We had a brief but entertaining tour with the opera house director. Its a beautiful historical building and the history of its use and renovation is very interesting. If I lived closer to Pella I would be definitely be interested in seeing more of their events here. The history of the organ is particularly interesting and impressive. We only paid $2 for the tour during the Tulip Time festival. It was the only really affordable tour available.

Our tour of the Opera House lasted less than an hour but was well worth the small admittance fee. Although you can tour it on your own, learning the history behind the refurbishing makes the tour so much more interesting. Our guide shared behind the scenes stories and was very entertaining.

Stopped in while enjoying downtown Pella. Self-guided tour with interesting history. Wish we could have been in town for one of the shows. They have a very limited schedule.

We walked into the Pella Opera House not knowing if we could really "just walk in." What we found was a friendly and interesting guide (it was a Saturday) who showed us around and even played the organ for us. This, people, is not to be missed. It's very informal, so just ask. If they have time to do so, you will hear one of the most amazing organs you have ever heard; in the style and in the setting in which this organ was designed to shine. Leave a donation, okay? When it comes to preservation of old buildings, we're all in this together.
