crooked fence brewing

We have revisited the Cooked Fence again, and hubby tried the Samuri Imperial and thought it was smooth. I tried the Hole Wheat hef and though it was tasty. We keep missing the Sins of our Fathers on tap, but have heard good things. We brought a bottle home from their cooler to sample later. NOTE: they have very limited hours at this tasting room - check their hours before dropping in. They had a food truck in the parking lot on this Friday night visit to help cure the munchies.

I just experienced the pleasure of this great tasting beer at Lucky 13 and had to tell somebody! I love crafted beers made locally and this is one of the finer tasting Porter's I've had the pleasure of crossing my taste buds.. Kudos to the brew master at Crooked Fence. I'll be looking for it again.

We've been to this unassuming pub twice. Both times we've been heartily greeted - think of "Norm"on Cheers. The prices were typical. We all agreed that their porter was good. Have not been able to taste the seasonals yet (i.e. sins of our fathers) as they had been sold out on each visit If you like trying out beer this place is worth a visit.
