We have never been disappointed with the food at this clubhouse, whether after golf or just stopping for lunch. The furniture is getting a bit warn, but the service and food stay top notch.
We were told this is a fantastic course but it is "JUST OKAY"It was nothing special. Just another average golf course. A bit disappointing since we never played there, we were sent off the back nine and the greens were just aeroated and we didnt receive any discounted price. For this course it isnt worth the price as there are so many beautiful courses around the area for the same price or cheaper. The staff were okay, didnt explain the course to us, forgot to see if I needed a score card, he asked if we played the course and I said no. Probably wont go back since there is more to choose from.
Living out of state, I visit this course once every few years. It keeps getting better. Rolling fairways with challenging carry to several holes. Greens are interesting without punishing. This time around there were areas of winterkill on the greens but the damage is on the mend. Bunkers are ample and kept in good condition. Greens fees are reasonable and overall the experience is good value.
Stopped in Post Falls and played The Highlands Golf Course. The course was in nice condition. There is water in played on a few holes. The staff was helpful and friendly. The price charged was not unreasonable. OK for a round of golf, but not for a championship.
Meh. The course winds its way through a typical ‘golf residential development.’ We golfed on a Monday. There wasn’t a soul in front or in back of us, so we got a chance to take our time and putt two or three times if we wanted! It’s not a challenging course even if you shoot into the trees. Long, wide fairways designed for the, uh, 'older' residents. Quiet. If you are staying in Spokane and want to get out & stretch your legs, this is a good place. The Grille is good (they need an extra person to help out though, service was slow). Be careful – if you book on line you’ll be charged hidden fees, so just call the Pro Shop for a tee time.
They have a standing deal on Thursdays of $45 round with cart and a $9 discount in the restaraunt. The course could use some more maintenance but for the price it was acceptable.Layout of the course is tough with a number of sloping and rolling fairways especially on the par fives.Food was pub style.
Over priced for standing water on most of the fairways. I know I am Exaggerating but it seem like they had ground under repair on every hole. If they give you a deal I will probably Play the highlands again but it's definitely not worth the 55 bucks with cart rental. $30 maybe.
Tightly treed and challenging. It has a great chipping, putting & driving range. The food in the restaurant is average. Nice , friendly neighborhood atmosphere.
It is a fun layout and I still play here from time to time. Many other courses in the area are in better shape.
Joined some friends in a best ball golf tournament for MS. The course was in great shape and we had a really great time. Nice relaxing atmosphere with friends. Would recommend this course if you are in the area.
