dover par 3 & driving range

An a enjoyable fun 2 hours of golf. The greens are beautifully kept. The staff very friendly and courteous. We will always play here. The cost to play and rent either clubs or their hand carts very reasonable. A must place to play.

There were 105 ladies that enjoyed a great golf outing at Dover Par 3. This was the 14th year that our group has played there. Tom ? and the entire staff have always been very friendly and helpful to us. We are looking forward to returning again in 2014. It is really hard to find a place that is within our budget to play.

My family and I enjoy Dover Par 3 very much. The course is perfect for beginners (which I am). Relatively inexpensive and they offer good deals online. Staff is very friendly. We look forward to going back very soon.

Hadn't been to the course in over a year and was very pleasantly surprised by how much nicer it was than a year ago. They really seem to be making an effort to keep it up. Had a very enjoyable time. Definitely plan on coming again

Years ago when I thought of Par 3 I remembered brown fairways, greens, and bits of trash near the tees. After returning from a long hiatus from the course I was pleasantly surprised at the 180 degree turn the course had taken and how great and clean the course looked. Friendly staff and a great practice green for chipping and putting. Now its a regular spot for me to play/practice on a regular basis. Enjoy!

The driving range is adequate, but the course is shearly for beginners. The actual facility is named "par 3" because every hole on the course is a par 3 (I assume). Many of the holes are only 85-95 yards. The longest is 165 I believe. I never used anything bigger than a 7 iron, though.Everything seems to be kept in reasonable shape and the prices are very reasonable (14$ play all day and 10 dollars for 105 balls on the range I believe). It would be fun to bring kids/beginners here but advanced golfers won't enjoy the course.

I am the owner of Dover Par 3 & driving Range. I am sorry for your negative experience at my facility. I will promise you that we would never condone or not act upon foul language being used at the course. We are very aware that type of behavior is detrimental to business. As far as the batting cages, they are all in goof working order for both baseball and softball. there are occasions that a machine goes down and we repair it just as soon as we are able. I have directed my employees to police regularly now for cigarette butts in the batting cage area and also around the tees on the course. I apologize for any problems you might have had and guarantee you that these are not daily occurrences. Please give us another try as almost every customer this year have been mentioning about all of the improvements in the facility we have mad in last couple of years.

Have been playing here for over 25 years. A walking par three,with no water or sand. Most holes are 70-150 yards. $14 for all day along with a VERY basic driving range and batting cages.A great value for players JUST learning the game or players wanting to tune up after the winter. Also a great value in this arena of $50+ greens fees. Gosh,you play once a week and STILL buy lunch!Can get busy,so be patient,we all started once.............

It has been several years since I played this course but since my children have now graduated from college, I plan to get back to it! This is a great place to start-and fun for the whole family.

Very Ruff Course...but for the money it is worth it. Great place to take young kids for an affordable round of golf that does not require more than 2 or 3 clubs. typical golf etiquette is not required.... you might play through a few guys in hightops/tanktops and a cooler a beer hitting golf balls at one another...but odds are you will have a quiet game with a few Miskitos.... I will go once or twice a year....

My friend and I had a leisurely afternoon hitting a bucket of balls and then playing the course. The course is not intuitive and we found the map hard to follow. The greens were in good shape and the pace of our play was not hurried.All in all a lovely afternoon.

I went there myself one Sunday afternoon. I had a good time on the course, not overcrowded and not too expensive. They provide drivers, wedges, irons, and putters if you do not have. I will probably go back next summer.

not crowded. good for amateurs, great for women or for men's short gamecan't wait to go back. beautiful landscaping, snack machines.

I recommited to the Dover Par 3 over 1 year ago and have heard nothing but positive comments all year long about the improvements and the progress of the course improvements. I had not heard one negative comment until now! The greens are now in very good condition and the area around the greens are in good condition. We have overseeded all other areas and will need another fall of overseeding to get the non-irrigated areas up to snuff. Sod had been installed around all teeing areas and all of the details are now being paid attention to . YOu will continue to see many positive changes at Dove Par 3 . The Cape May Par 3 is in pristine condition and Dover Par 3 is in good condition. I hope you will continue enjoying the best entertainment value in all of Kent County Delaware. Batting Cages are great for our baseball team to practice at such a low price. It also helps when you have such a great person working at the front desk "Donna" to help you with all your needs! She is always willing to help and always has a smile on her face!! Thanks Donna!
