We were a group of 8, age range 20-55 with mainly solo riders and a couple taking passengers. Never ATV'd before. All the units worked perfectly. My wife was on an automatic, which was great for her but I really enjoyed my manual shift. The quads are really comfortable and they can appear invincible on the terrain. I thought my wife might struggle with the whole thing but at the end I had to drag her off her quad kicking and screaming.Went out to Red Canyon with T for 3 hours, and he was fantastic. He's been on ATVs since he was a kid and I asked him if he ever got bored with Red Canyon. Answer: no! He does about 200 tours in a season and he says it never bores him and always has a different feel to it. The 3 hours shot past, we were having so much fun. Of all the activities we tackled on a 2 week, action-packed trip, this is the one that was universally loved. If we could, we would have turned around and done another 3 hours. Bryce Canyon is beautiful and has to be seen, but Red (Casto) Canyon has the same geology and you feel completely removed from the crowds.Spoke to the owner, Mark, after the trip and he's been taking people out since 1988 - never once had a serious accident with anyone and he knows his business. He loves spending time out in the wilderness for days at a time and it was a real privilege to speak to him. I would give my right arm to at least do a whole day trip with him no matter how gruelling the 120 mile trip might be. Visiting Bryce Canyon aside, the prospect of that would certainly make me want to visit the area specifically.Great way to spend a morning, thank you.

We had booked the one hour ATV tour over the phone. It was my and my hubby's first experience at ATV. Our tour guide was T (Don't know how to spell it, but was called T). He was a nice guy who instructed us well and had good knowledge about ATV machines. The tour was about 1 hour, first 45 mins he led us into Dixie National Forest Area which was pretty much a flat terrain but very picturesque.Last 15-20 mins, were the icing on the cake and reason for excellent rating. Last 15 mins, he led us to their tracks..which are meant to experience extreme ATV action. My husband truly enjoyed the tracks which had sharp banked corners. We paid $35 for the driver plus 19$ for the passenger..it was totally worth the money..

We took the 1 hour trip because the 3 hour trip was no longer available do to so many broken ATV's. We made reservations for the 4 PM ATV tour. When we showed up they told us to come back at 5:30 because their was another group going out and there were no more ATV's. I asked what was the point of the reservation and also let them know that I now had wasted 2 hours that could have been spent hiking in Bryce. They really didn't care. That being said the ATV trip was very good. I think the 3 hour trip would even be better. We saw mule deer and pronghorn antelope. The scenery through Dixie National Forest was very nice. This could be much better but they need a manager to oversee the operation. There really is no one in charge.

We booked the 3 hour canyon tour - unfortunately there had been a flood and the route was closed. T took us through the forest instead. While I was disappointed that we weren't able to tour the canyon, the forest route was great. My three teen-aged kids had a great time. All in all, a fun day.

We had never ATV'd before and had an amazing 3 hr trip with our guide T. Our teenage boys loved it. T was patient and accommodating. We took tons of photos and loved every minute. The trails were a bit rough but that added to the thrill of being way off the beaten path. Highly recommend for a great family adventure.

We loved where we went and our guide, however the atvs where not maintained, 1 broke down and 1 would stall if you let off the gas. We rented 4 and did most of the ride with 3. Met the owner at the end of the ride and his comment was this never happens with me, so it was obvious he didn't have intentions on fixing them. Also not good for armature riders

We booked the 3-hr tour with this company and had the unfortunate experience of being there during the government shut down, so we weren't able to go into Bryce Canyon. The weather was cold and rainy so they gave us the option of shortening the tour to 1-hr and refunding us the difference. We were very pleased with that, especially since we were just atv'ing through a forest, nothing we hadn't seen before. It was still fun and our teenaged boys loved it as they each drove their own ATV. We will definitely use them again if we return to the area and we'd love to since we didn't get to see Bryce!

We came here with a group of 22 people (ranging in ages of 15-23) in June and everyone had a great time ATV'ing. We split up our group into two, and took 2 (3 hours each) shifts so that everyone could have a turn. By the end of ATVing we were all exhausted and covered from head to toe with dirt but it was worth every second of the experience. If your visiting Bryce definitely take a few hours to do this exciting adventure.

Did this ride with my 3 teenage sons and also another family came with us. Our guide, Shelby, was a great and interesting guy. the ride was hillarious, my boys just loved it, my youngest was 15, so all of them got their own ATV. We were completely covered in dust afterwards, and the sand kicked up from the ATVs really got in your eyes and nose, so Shelby let us keep a good distance to the driver in front while keeping an eye on us all to make sure were were safe. Only wish is that it could have been a round trip instead of up and down the same track. All in all great fun!

My husband and I took our two daughters (7 and 10) on a 3-hour tour. My husband had been on an ATV only once and I had never gone before. Our guide was a young man, very friendly, but extremely soft spoken. We were provided with helmets. We brought bandanas to wear over our faces (HIGHLY recommend because of all the dust. You can find some at the general store at Ruby's Inn if you forget them), sunglasses (also HIGHLY recommend for sun and dust...especially if you're a driver), and water bottles. The trail was smooth for a portion, bumpy for others. Our daughters were just fine riding behind us. They didn't even have to hold onto us for most of it and chose to hold onto the back luggage racks instead. The tour guide makes sure you are familiar with the ATVs and how to change gears. I don't drive a stick shift AT ALL, so I was a little worried about changing gears, but it was actually pretty easy. You just lift a foot pedal when you want to speed up or lower when you need a little more help climbing a steeper spot. The gas and brake are all on your handles. It was really easy and I was totally comfortable with it after the first ten minutes or so of practicing. I also followed right behind the guide and he frequently looked back and listened to my gears to make sure I was okay and not having any problems. You can bring a back pack if you like, but you don't have to wear it. They have racks to which it can be tied down. You and anything you bring WILL be completely covered in dust. There is a Subway sandwich shop in the same parking lot....GREAT when one is hungry after the ride.I gave them a four out of five only because it would have been nice to have gotten a little more information about the Canyon itself on the tour. We basically rode in and out with a couple of stops for a brief break. They do have a couple of restrooms along the particular trail we took through Casto Canyon (beautiful by the way).

We went on the 3hr tour to a canyon following a dried river bed. We were allocated a canam (2 seater) ATV . The guide (Shelby) was wonderful. He made sure we knew what to do, gave us helmets, gloves and glasses and away we went. We went fairly steadily at first until Shelby as sure we knew what to do and then he upped the pace a little. It was the most fun we've had on this trip. We went through dried up river beds and through canyon trails and wonderful scenery and although it was a little dusty it was absolutely worth it, Shelby even provided us with bottled water which was much appreciated. This tour would be suitable for the experienced and inexperienced riders alike as Shelby tailors the tour to suit individual needs. Thank you, this was a definite highlight of our trip,

My boyfriend and I decided to go on an ATV tour on a whim while passing through the area last April. We lucked out and were the only ones on the tour. My boyfriend is experienced with ATV's (he owned one) and i rode with him, so the guide gave us more free reign than we normally would on the tours. We were also older and he knew that we would not pull anything crazy. The ride was mostly thrill in nature, but the guide did occasionally stop to point out sights, including a deer family and he took some great pictures of us. He was super warm and friendly, imparting advice that we listened to regarding our Utah trip. In fact, we listened to him, but didn't bother to consult a map (100% our own fault) and that led to a day's detour through Utah. We had a memorable trip to say the least!I highly recommend this company. They put safely first and would be good for beginners or experienced driver alike. The views are beautiful. Fab adventure - but DON'T wear decent clothing as you get covered in red dust!We were a family of 6 but opted to have 2 ATV's as 6 would have been a squeeze in the 6 seater.

4-wheelers are on the older side but they still go. Had a good time riding through the semi-ruff terrain. There were some ups/downs, whoopty-dos, dry creek beds a patch or two of ice (it was November). So overall a nice ride with great views. You ride right through an area of the canyon with red rock walls on either side. My wife was chicken to drive her own so she jumped on the back with me, but I would highly suggest ANYONE wanting to do this to get their own 4-wheeler.

It was enjoyable to ride the ATV up and down Costa Canyon and enjoy the red rocks and forested area. It gave a little different feel from Bryce Canyon. We were the only people on the tour so we didn't have to put up with much dust and had a great tour.We were there at the end of the season and no one was in the office when we arrived. After calling the phone number a young man showed up and hurridly prepared to take us. We were the only reservation for the day.
