the west tennessee agriculture museum

A hidden treasure. I wish more would stop in and see it. Kids have heard but have never seen how people lived decades ago in the country.

The West TN Ag Museum is a wonderful place to visit multiple times. There are so many exhibits related to farm life all thru the 1900's. It is a nice place to bring out of town friends who have an interest or family background in farming. The displays bring back memories from growing up on the farm and memories that my parents and grandparents shared about how farming has changed thru the years.

Took my parents to this museum, because many things on display were in use while they were younger. They have a lot of items on display that generated conversations about when my mom or dad had one of those. It was a fun time. Many items are on display upstairs, but the elevator was broken, so my parents couldn't climb the stairs. Also, if you plan to go to the museum in the summer, go in the morning and tour upstairs first. It gets really hot upstairs later in the day in the summer.
