Despite the wonderful view of the marina and restaurant décor, the food was very average. I had the jerk chicken and it was just ok. Neither my husband or I were overwhelmed with our meal but the service was very good and I enjoyed our marina view.
Great food ...pleasant atmosphere...quick, quality service. Close to downtown and just an overall good dining experience.
We stopped by for early dinner before going to Movies in the Park. Clean and quiet. Not that many people so it was quiet. Server was well dressed. Food was good. Prices were reasonable. We will go again.
The setting of the restaurant is beautiful - right along the marina and Cumberland River area. The inside is very appealing and the outside seating area offers great views. The food is very mediocre. The dishes are typical and often overdone. I keep trying it out, hoping for better results, but it hasn't happened yet. The bar area is nice, with an icy metal plate that runs down the entire bar, providing a place that will keep your drink cold the until it's gone. Overall, the place is "ok".
I had heard great things about this place, but was underwhelmed. The view is gorgeous and the bread is excellent. The rest of the food, however, was very basic and rather bland. Service is good, but I wouldn't go back just based on the food. There are far better options in this area.
Need a place to reflect or a place to get close to nature, then this could be your place. I was visiting the city and decided to look for a place to just sit and watch the river flow by. I made a great choice because it allowed me to do just that. The park is well maintained and very picturesque. Although I was there to relax, there were others there with their children to use the recreation playground equipment, runners jogging the trails and even a few anglers fishing. And yes they were doing it in the rain and cold. This is a nice place and I recommend it.
This place is fantastic. Working at APSU, I am limited on the placed I get to eat. This place is great. The daily specials increase my love for this place. I look forward to eating here again and again.
Stopped by to check out the Christmas decorations while on vacation and we were amazed at the beauty. What a beautiful job not only at the park but the entire town of Clarksville was decorated beautiful.
It's clear that a lot of thought was put into the ambiance of the restaurant. The lighting is nice and there is ample seating. However, the main draw of any restaurant (the food) was kind of lacking. There were quite a few dishes to choose from... and while that's sometimes nice, here it felt like someone had randomly selected a variety of dinners that left the restaurant with no central theme. Figuring the restaurant was on the river and was called a "marina," I tried the fish sandwich and was, frankly, a bit disappointed. It seemed really salty. We also had the pickle chips as an appetizer which were pretty decent (but were, of course, ridiculously salty as well.)However, that was the only time I've eaten at this restaurant, so perhaps it deserves another chance. The rest of my family seemed to enjoy their meals and had no complaints. Perhaps I just made a poor choice in choosing the fish sandwich.
I love this park! !!!My little girls had so much fun! Beautiful place!! Can't wait to go back again soon.
get your fishing on, or play at the huge kids park, lots to see and do here. One day we watch a large group of people fight in hand to hand combat with foam swords and shields, and maces. I believe they are called LARPers. That looked silly, but my kids loved it. Good job guys.
This place is wonderful.beautiful and the Marina is top notch.some great views of the river and the parks are clean and safe.
We had our daughter's wedding on the bank of the Cumberland River at Liberty Park. It was gorgeous! We've also taken our grandkids to play at the playground there and they always want to go back.
The Service was nice, friendly servers and food was good. Loved sitting outside overlooking the water and Marina.
Wow! What a beautiful setting for walking along the path by the Cumberland. The winding path is gorgeous. There are picnic tables, and it looks as though there is a miniature golf (don't really know it was off to the side - castles) We didnt go there. It was too cold. The park has a nice setting with the Liberty Grille within walking distance, the marina, of course, the Wilma Rudolph Event Center, pavillions, etc. Will definitely frequent this park when the weather gets better.
