moe's original bbq - denver

Went here for a work outing in the afternoon. The wait staff was really friendly and the catered pulled pork and smoked chicken was really good. I also enjoyed the macaroni and cheese and the cornbread as our sides. With the bowling, pinball games, pool table, foosball table and video games there is plenty to do for a group that just wants to hang out for the evening and have a great meal among friends. They do have dining room seating, patio seating, and a full bar. I would recommend Moe’s to friends.

Perfect portions, great tasting brisket sandwich. The green bean side tasted just like my grandma's with little chunks of bacon and vinegar. Slaw was pretty good although they put flavor-stealing green peppers in it!! Yuck. Just take them out. Nice staff. Pretty darn good BBQ for outside KC.

Used to come to this location when it had the pool hall attached to the bowling alley and was excited to go back. Shared a few appetizers with friends and they were not worth the price. The queso on the nachos was watery, BBQ sauce was a bad addition to it, and I don't think the chicken was cooked all the way through so we did not finish them. Big disappointment. No waitstaff on the patio so you had to go to the bar if you wanted something else.

We came to Englewood to see a concert at the Gothic Theater and decided to eat at Moes (its right next to the Gothic). The food was phenomenal, and we had fun sitting outside on the balcony. As we were sitting there the members of the band we were going to see walked by and came to eat here also! My husband got a picture with them, and we left very happy!
