Not far from Gunnison. Well maintained even after the heavy rains. Evidence of beaver activity.The walk is easy, and the sounds of the stream are delightful.

This is a nice riverside walk, but about halfway through the well-maintained trail ends and things get pretty impassable. There is a sign at the trailhead, so it's no surprise, but it's too bad because there aren't many trails like it in the mountains. If it's repaired I would highly recommend it.

This is an easy, peaceful trail. If you go in damp summer months, be prepared to find mushrooms. There are giant oyster mushrooms growing on the downed trees along the trail. But be careful- there are also very poisonous mushrooms in this area. Great trail for small children who don't like hills - very green and lush.

Good place to relax, picnic, fishing all under open bluesky of Gunnison county. What else do you need ?
