You need to check on line ahead of your visit. The shows vary from contemporary theater to presentations of old favorites to local dance recitals. The venue has been carefully restored and acoustics are good throughout much of the theater. A fine restaurant is "attached".
This is a wonderful place to go for a unique experience in Loveland. It's small, yet houses some very fun events! Highly recommended gem in old town Loveland.
We enjoyed one of our favorite musical artists at a concert at the Rialto Theater one summer weekend in Loveland, CO, and we really enjoyed ourselves. Downtown parking is challenging, but we are able to find a free parking spot on the street just a couple blocks away. Ticket prices for our particular concert were quite reasonable, and the theater is conveniently located near several restaurants and specialty shops downtown. The theater staff was helpful, and the auditorium was small and charming, but the seats were comfortable. A small variety of snacks and drinks, including alcoholic beverages, was available for purchase at a snack bar downstairs. Acoustics were decent, and the music was not too loud. The Rialto Theater Center also features various rooms for rent for meetings, special events, holiday parties and weddings. For us, we surely plan to catch our next favorite artist or theater act at the Rialto any time we can.
With a Variety of choices, offered throughout the Year... There's gotta be something you can come see here. Intimate, and comfortable... EVERY seat in the house is good.Parking can be a bit problematic... so come early... have dinner out, and enjoy.
Whenever we have gone to the Rialto, there have been good shows and love the old, nostalgic look of the theater! The seating and acoustics are good too!
This theater is located in old downtown Loveland. Many galleries to explore along with a good selection of eateries in the area. The Rialto brings in entertainment from all over, including local home talent for plays and music groups. I don't think there is a "bad" seat in the house, due to the size.
I went to see Hazel Miller by myself at the last minute. I ended up with a front and center seat. Not only that, there was another woman whom had come alone so I asked her if she wanted to sit by me and she was also able to purchase a seat right next to me. We danced on the little dance floor in front of the stage all night. Great for the older crowd, like us. Younger concert goers would not appreciate this space.
The Rialto is a gem right here in downtown Loveland on 4th Street. It is a small theater with no bad seats. Even when sitting in the back, I can see and hear just fine. The variety of performances are amazing. What an excellent job is being done by the staff at the Rialto! Congrats and please keep up the fine work!
The venue is perfect for smaller and more intimate concerts. It is the best place to see live entertainment in the area.
Do not hesitate to purchase tickets for your favorite musicians at the Loveland, Colorado, Rialto Theatre. It is a very small, intimate venue where all seats are great. Every concert we've been to has been awesome. We've seen world renown artists like Richie Haven, Judy Collins and George Winston. Prices are extremely affordable. The "Next Door" restaurant is right "next door"........and equally awesome and convenient before or after a show. I highly recommend purchasing tickets for you favorite artists.
My husband & I really enjoy attending concerts and shows at the Rialot Theater in downtown Loveland, CO! The last one we saw was the Loveland Choral Society show - it was so much fun! We also enjoy seeing Acoustic Eidolon there every Christmas season. The theater is decorated beautifully and Hannah & Joe, of AE, are wonderful performers!!
Love this venue in Loveland. It offers so much diversity in music, theater, shows and is a very intimate place. The best thing is that you can take food and drinks into the theater. With the Next Door Restaurant's strategically placed window ~ even a glass of wine!
The rialto is such a beautiful theater. I just wish the offerings were more dynamic and more often. Seems like they cater to either families with small children or the geriatric crowd. I wish there was better music, plays and movies offered. We need to attract folks to our crippled downtown area. Please step up the caliber of events!
Just saw Judy Collins in concert in Feb. 2014. Found the ad late but purchased balcony seats which turned out to be wonderful since the venue is small. Sound was fine. Tickets are reasonably priced. They start on time and have a nice lobby with treats and popcorn. Don't hesitate to give this a try. I've seen probably 10 concerts here and never been disappointed.
This gem somehow was spared the 1960s wrecking ball. It was used over the decades for various purposes but restoration in the 1980s uncovered some wonderful original paneling and this was restored lovingly. I like sitting in the balcony--good acoustics and a nice 'vintage feel'. Lots of nice productions-google them.
