Beautiful art in different forms throughout the downtown, but we were on our trip with little kids on our way to Durango and stopped here on the way and had to keep little hands away from everything the entire time. You can find all sorts of interesting things being sold by the artists as part of their efforts to reenergize the town as an artists colony.

Next to the Absolute Bakery & Café you will find the talent of the local Mancos artists on display and, of course, for sale at reasonable prices. The artists themselves are the sales clerks so expect to learn about their techniques and their interests. Loved the stained and fused glass as well as the artist whose animals provide the raw materials for all of her clothing items.
