Mr. Grumpypants is awesome. Bring a good attitude and cash, or go to the ATM. (reminder: no amount of cash can help your crappy attitude) . YAY for being grumpy! The beer is good! His woodfired stove is super on a cold evening too, Lots of games to play and enjoy!

Came to Ouray two years ago and the ONE place I knew I wanted to revisit was the Ourayle Brewery...home of Mr. Grumpy Pants Brewing Company. The freshly brewed ale is wonderful, and the bar itself is a strange and wonderful place. I suggest grabbing the backgammon set, sitting close to the woodburning stove, checking out the strange and amusing signs around the barand seeing if you can get a smile and some really fun conversation out of the owner/proprietor Hutch. We will be back!

Beer here was great and despite the name, the owner seemed very friendly. No food but the beer was good.
