My husband and I love to go hang out at Elk Mountain. We often comment that it feels like we're at home because it's a great atmosphere. Their seasonal selection always has at least one beer we really like, and they have about 10 different brews available always, 3 of which we always enjoy. You can also bring in food or have it delivered, which is a plus!! Check it out sometime. :-)

Beer is a difficult thing to take another's recommendations on. Just look at how many people still drink that watered down stuff from the big breweries. But I generally find Elk Mountain's beer to be lacking something or have too much of a bitter aftertaste. So if you like the IBU high in your beer this may be the sort of place you should come visit.

Elk Mountain brewing is focused on brewing. They always have a unique/seasonal beer on a rotating schedule. The beers are really good and with the variety most people should be able to find a beer they like. Don't go for food, as beers, rootbeer & free popcorn are the only things on their menu. The place isn't loud so you can have a relaxing conversation with friends. Definitely a good local spot to meet friends for a beer & conversation.

There are lots and lots of microbreweries in Colorado. This is a really good one. The hefeweizen was spectacular. I really liked the atmosphere as well. It was an interesting twist that pizza was delivered twice to the place while I was there since they don't serve food. The staff is attentive and fun. Big fan! It's a bonus that I live close.

I have been going to this place for a couple of years now about every other month or so and either sit in or get a growler. This is the best beer in the metro area if not the state and rivaled locally by only Dry Dock. Great staff and awesome suds. The only place I would put above Elk Mountain is Russiian River in California, but this is close. Gotta luv bringing in your own chow or hitting the occasional food trucks. My ONLY complaint as a sports fan, is I would like a couple of bigger TVs....hard to see from the I middle tables after a coupe of high octane pints!

I am not the biggest beer drinker in town (that would be my husband). But I do love a good German Hefeweizen! And I don't have to fly to Germany to find one. The best I have ever tasted in the US is right here in Parker, CO. Tom Bell brews the best. And if you like other fine microbrews, look no further. My husband, who is, in my opinion, a beer connoisseur, enjoys sampling all of the beer at Elk Mountain. Tom usually has at least seven varieties on tap. He also offers seasonal beer selections.Elk Mountain does not serve food. This is no problem as you are allowed to bring whatever food you are in the mood for into the brewery. We alternate between bringing my own homemade chili, our favorite pizza, sub sandwiches, or whatever suits us on any given day.They also have a book of menus of local restaurants who will deliver food for your convenience. Additionally, you will often find one of the mobile vendors out front serving hotdogs and brats, or Cajun food to name a couple of options.Prost!

Elk Mountain is the greatest Brewery in Colorado, if not the world. They brew 9 fantastic beers. I usually get the sampler. They also have Growlers to go. They do not serve food, but you are welcome to bring food in. I stop at my favorite restaurant and bring a burrito or burger to the Elk.I can not say enough good things about El Mountain. The beer is very reasonable and extremely high quality.

We visit Elk Mountain Brewing at least once a week. As regular visitors of micobreweries around the nation, we have found that Elk Mountain is right up there with the best. The Beer is fantastic. They do not serve food which initially we thought odd, but have found that bringing your own is less expensive, creates variety, and just plain a good idea. The service is quick and friendly. This is a great place to sit and enjoy a beer with friends. HIGHLY recommend to anyone who enjoys a good beer!
